The bat is from a bootleg line called Gruesome Creatures. There were three bats and three balls and they came packaged together. I've been dying to get my hands on one of these. any interest in selling or trading? :)

My mom came up to visit. She brought up a whole ton of my old 80s toys.

I remember wondering what the heck these things were nearly 20 years ago.

I found these mixed with my MUSCLE MEN:

I wonder if they are worth anything?

Thanks!

I wish I could remember the packaging :D For some reason, I sort of remember my mom giving me a these in clearence packaging. It was like your typical G.I. Joe cardboard back with plastic front. I think there were 4-5 figures per pack. I could be mistaken, though. I had so many toys.

All I can remember are the ways I used to play with them: My MUSCLE Men would be fighting a great race war. They fought anyone that wasn't their color (flesh, red, blue, green, orange, etc). I had tons of the them. Anyways, this portal would open up from the pits of hell and these Weird Ball Wrestlers would pop out and beat this shizznit out of all the MUSCLE Men.

HAHA. Not bad for an 8 year old.

Make me an offer :o

I honestly have no idea. I can't find any of them on eBay to reference.

Do you also buy MUSCLE Men? I have a lot of 192 of 'em I'm about to put on eBay. I've got pics upon request.

Nice. As a kid, I think i only had one Weird Ball Wrestler, so the MUSCLEs always ganged up on him and delivered a group beat down. :o

Too bad about the packaging. I am truly mystified that packaging for these has never surfaced. :D

'On Sale' or 'For Sale'. It's really the same thing! The word, 'Sale' means YOU CAN BUY IT,
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.

Wow! I am blown away. I have the Spitball Louie and I've seen a picture of the Bonehead, but I've always wondered what else was out there. Any pictures of the back of the cards? Where'd you score these guys?

Thanks for posting this!

This is obscene necroposting and I apologise and I wouldn't be doing so if it wasn't 'necessary' buuuut did anyone save the images of the Weird Ball G.R.U.N.T Force figures and the back of the packaging shots from this thread and would be willing to repost them for me please? Thanks.

Never heard the term necroposting before but honestly I don't really see it as a problem. Don't people usually express disapproval if a member posts about a topic for which there is already an existing thread. Seems like a good way to revive old posts with a bump. I've pushed a bunch of useful BB threads to the top that had been buried pages deep. Does suck though that so many photo bucket and flicks accounts were used to upload images and subsequently closed or removed. good luck recovering those pics though.

Thanks mate, yeah apparently it's called necroposting, or so i read somewhere (a Sonic the Hedgehog board probably), it makes some people cross *shrugs* personally I'm with you, better to keep it all in one thread nice and neat and informative.

Raisin' this one up from the dead to share that I finally got around to doing a proper Weird Ball Wrestlers post on Little Weirdos. Finally decided to track down a couple sculpts that I was missing and take photos of the whole set.

I'd love to see some more detailed photos of that ring turn up! I think the only ones that exist are the couple really small ones from that old eBay listing? (which I included in my post)
