Is this a good price for the newer 2006 series MIMP? I have considered buying some and was wondering if this is a good deal overall. And if it is actually a complete set.

Its a rip off to me, plus as it says its the uk one so it doesnt have the aussie released ones which are harder to come buy. £175 is pretty crazy I think as they quite frequently come up in smaller lots for waaaaaaay cheaper

He did just sell another set for £200, which I agree is insanity.

I'll probably end up getting some eventually. I like the mono-colors better though. Not sure why.

I was always iffy with this reboot series. Some of the designs are cool, but most of them...I don't know...just look cartoony and stupid. The Cyclops looks awful and The Leviathan? It looks like a beached whale with sharp teeth.

The designers definitely had less creativity. Big muscles were apparently his thing. I hate the vampire in this set, looks like some random dude from Sherlock Holmes.

To be more clear, I mean that I like the mono-color figures better in general than painted ones.

I agree with you all the way. The old school ones will always be the best!

Hey everyone !

First post on here...

I bought him one set not long ago... Though, to me, seemed a fair price cause from where I'm (France), I only see on Ebay some lots of one or two figures, and for a higher price than what cost me a figure in that lot. (A bit over 6 euros, while I see them at 10 euros to 18 euros !...)

Granted, a lot of sellers just don't ship to France, so, it leaves less choice to get them.

I just didn't know about that "relaunched" series from 2006... I indeed prefer the old designs overall, though, some are quite cool, some are just too cartoony and "for kids" or "PG" I would say. lol

My bro though seems to like them... Might sell him ! lol

I like the 2006 (Gen 2) series. I will never afford (pay so much) any Series 3, and I can get a bunch even from overseas for the price of one S3. That said, anywhere on the forums that identify those two mystery figures? One looks like it may be Dryad and the other a Sphynx.

Thank you.
