Trying to stand up G.I. Joes without figure stands SUCKS!  They are about as bad as trying to stand up M.U.S.C.L.E.s!  I give up...at least until I get some more stands lol.

if you're using stands on the vintage era, be very careful as sometimes putting the pegs in their feet will shatter their feet. just a pre-warning as i'd hate to see you damage some of your toys

Thanks for the heads up.  I didn't know that.  I had just enough black stands for the Pit Viper Army I got, but that's about it.  So if I remember right, I got around 50 Pit Vipers.  Some are original, most are from the 6 packs that came out not too long ago.  But they all fit in with the originals.

I would normally use a vitnage stand and slowly turn the figure onto the peg. So much safer than an exploding ankle lol

I've found that the stands from smalljoes works really good.  Even better than the originals.  I've found the originals are really tight with the figs while the smalljoes' ones fit perfectly.

Finally got around to ordering some more figure stands and got the rest of the Joes up.  Here's what they look like.
