Nerds.
The same exact thing happened in the FOA market, a couple of years ago.

Almost half of the first lot isn't even M.U.S.CL.E.!
I wish sellers would look at some completed listings before making up crazy BIN prices, especially when they sell things they know nothing about.

If people in my local area find out how many apparently 'rare' figures I have in my house, I'll have to lock it down Purge style

I offered the first listing $30. Let's see if that'll change their tune a bit.

They counter-offered $60. I declined.

Haha $60 from $400? That means they know their lot is a piece of shit.

The claw alone would have brought that much. The other figures are freebies.

I let them know why, when I informed them about that steep ticket on their lot. Let them know, their lot had nothing rare by any means and half the stuff wasn't even muscle, etc. They don't care. They just said thanks. HahaThey didn't bother to figure out WHY the $400+ lot went for that much, they just knew they had a bunch, saw that for some reason some were valuable, and jumped on an opportunity that for them, will never come.

Although greed is one of the original seven deadly sins, it also plays a significant role in driving people not normally associated with M.U.S.C.L.E. to dig thru forgotten boxes, yard sales, relatives’ attics, antique malls, etc. We might not be aware of the Magnificent 11 today if not for an opportunistic Japanese seller. What other treasures are out there and what makes us think people will look for them if we insist all M.U.S.C.L.E. lots conform to our pricing expectations? So I try not to be too critical of these sellers. This is a capitalist society; let them charge what they want.

It is a free capitalist society, and I have a right to grumble about some goofdick trying to bleed my hobby dry, just as he has a right to be an ignorant cheat.

The Magnificent 11 were test shots/prototypes/one-offs. They had to be.
Unless I am mistaken- there has never been any since and wont be anymore.
Kind of like that T-formers guy who had prototypes that sold for an arm and leg recently.
I seriously doubt that it was some asian dude rooting through boxes in his storage.
And Ironmask.....Goofdick is crackin me up haha
