This week's episodes were pretty sweet, I think Check-mate is awesome, totally cool. My only complaint is, once again it took two episodes to finish one match, and I am not even sure they finished it. So is this a three episode match? I want more action!!! Actually pretty pleased with this weeks though. Another thing is the earlier episodes had alot of buffalo man, and ramen man and the guys we grew up loving, not so much of them in recent episodes(except sunshine).

I LOVED the new episodes. I don't mind 2 episodes per match, as long as there is alot of action.
I think Sunshine is a great villain. He's hilarious!
Checkmate looks prety intimidating, but I wonder if he can wrestle beyond his shape shifting abilities?
I would like to see a Kevin Mask vs. Gazelleman. Anybody who has seen the Japanese sereis, does this happen? Seeing Mantaro wrestle almost every match does get monotonous sometimes, but then again this is Kinnikuman - Ultimate Muscle, not the Hercules Factory/Muscle League show.

sweet sweet sweet! these episodes are the best i have ever seen! (iv'e only seen the last 3 weeks worth of 'em) although 2 episodes per match is a bit much, at least there was a lot of action and lots of backstory and other things going on in the show besides just the match at hand.

2 or 3 episodes for a match is alright. As long as it doesnt get like dbz where it takes a week for them to power up before they can fight.

I completely agree. Although I love DBZ, sometimes the drawn-out fights can get ridiculous. When it was the Saiyan Saga and the Frieza Saga, that was kind of okay because you're kind of getting an idea of the power of the characters. But nowadays with the Maijin Buu Saga it's getting old.

I also express hope that they don't drag out the episodes too.
Does anybody have a wav of the beef and rice song. My little brother loves the song.

Wow a female post, finally. I was starting to worry. I have tried to get Tsubasa to chat with us because she has some knowledge to share, but she calls me names and hurts my feelings. Welcome to the board Ms. Kinnikufan.

I like dbz but it is a pain waitng for a week or two to see who is going win the fight and watch it play out. You would also think with all the training and stuff that they would be able to gather there power quicker.

Now I dont have cable so I dont have to worry about it. Cant watch it one way or the other.

Chicken and rice song is rather catchy.

I love Dik Dik Van Dik. I love characters with a wry sense of humor.

By the way, I'd just like to say thanks to Johnny for putting these plot summaries up on AKIA! Half the time I can't watch the show for whatever reason (and I forget to set the VCR), and this keeps me in the loop.
