This isn't really a case of scam auctions, just a case of an Ebay seller who is pretty stupid. He says in the descriptions of those last three auctions:

(picture is only to show what musclemen are; you will receive 14, some pictured, some not)

It could be that he put that picture up thinking that you wouldn't read the description, but I think he was just lazy and didn't want to scan in all those other MUSCLEs. Of course, nobody's going to bid much on MUSCLEs they can't either see or identify from numbers on the poster, so that was exceedingly stupid on his part! So I think this is just a case of a dumb-arse seller, not a lying toy dealer scum-licker.

i think he knew no one would read it and wanted to try to trick someone, otherwise, why would he crop the picture instead of just using the same picture every time? i mean you would still see what they are from the regular picture.

Hm... that's a good point. I don't really understand the motive of using the same picture, though. I mean, how could he get more money out of collectors by making them think that these figures are in the lot he's selling? Maybe he thinks that the figures in his other lots suck..?

Either he's trying to trick someone into buying something that isn't muscle, or he's just dumb. Why would you have a picture of a lot that is smaller than what you are selling?

but you still have to ask yourself, if the intent of the picture was simply to show what muscle men ARE, then what would be the point of cropping it a different way for each auction? this would be pretty time-consuming for a guy who is too lazy to take a picture of the item he is selling. i think i make a pretty valid point. also, INEXPERIENCED SELLER?!?!? he has a feedback rating of 82! i have only made about 6 transactions and i am sure i can figure out how to accurately describe and take pictures of the item i am selling. this REEKS of scam.

I saw this too and just passed it by. I wouldn't waste my time on these auctions if you can't even see exactly what you are going to get. It's either lazyness or inexperience on the seller's part.

INEXPERIENCED SELLER?!?!? he has a feedback rating of 82!

Yeah, but how many of those 82 feedback points are from selling? Anyways, it's a lame auction. Stay away.
