Hey everybody. I stumbled upon the site a few days ago and have learned alot.

I saw my first episode of Ultimate MUSCLE two weeks ago as I was flipping through the channels. I saw the characters and I go "Those look a lot like those old M.U.S.C.L.E. guys I use to have." I watched the show (Kid Muscle vs. Checkmate) and I was nearly on the floor laughing. Me being 17 years old, I normally don't watch cartoons anymore, but as I watched this, I couldn't stop laughing. (I especially got a kick out of Kid Muscle's "Cow Chow" song.)

The next week I actually got up early for a change JUST to watch it, and as I already knew, I enjoyed the show.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself Hope to talk to you guys later.

p.s. Nice avatar!

Also, if you want to now what you missed as far as the cartoon goes, go to http://www.kinnikuman.com and click the "info" link and then the "G2 Story" link. I put up a brief synopsis of each episode every Saturday.

Welcome to the board! I often wonder about younger people getting into muscle men...I don't want this to sound the wrong way but muscle came out about 17 years ago (about the time you were born), I don't think they're a very suitable toy for infants, how did you start your collection? Did you have an older brother who gave them to you? Like I said, I'm just curious about younger collectors...welcome aboard anyhoo.

Ya know, honestly I was never a huge collector of the M.U.S.C.L.E. toys. As I was a bit older, I had a few, but was never really into them. :p

You had some from when you were younger? How?

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but if you're 17 then you were born in '85. Didn't MUSCLE's come out in '85?

Like pasvagrsvj said, MUSCLE's aren't really for infants. In fact, I wouldn't even give a toddler one. So even if you had them when you were 5 (1990), they had to be a hand-me-down or a yard sale toy.

Just curious?

When I said I had some when I was young, I was talking along the lines of when I was 4 and 5 :p .

And I don't exactly rememeber how I got them to be honest.

And don't worry about asking me these questions. I understand everybody's curiousity.

Just because he was born when they came out, that doesn't mean they dissapeared for a time when he was old enough to play with them. He could have found some at garage sales, or the back aisle in toys r us or something... By the way, welcome to the board, big guy!
