Definitely not a bootleg, just a dried up and shrivelled soft BEB. Once they start getting like that the only thing they're good for is the bin. This is why I generally avoid the soft BEB like the plague.

The soft ones can actually dry up to become THAT hard? It didn't appear shrivelled. In fact, it was a perfect sculpt apart from the damage. It was brown throughout also - the broken arms enabled me to check that out.Definitely not a bootleg, just a dried up and shrivelled soft BEB. Once they start getting like that the only thing they're good for is the bin. This is why I generally avoid the soft BEB like the plague.

There was some mention here about a soft green Deviled Egg that dried up and hardened but retained its shape:

However most soft BEB that dry up seem to get brittle and develop cracks.
