I'm getting used to the site. Though I'm not sure about a couple of things. I see "obo" used in the Got Toys threads. I can't figure out what obo stands for. Another things are the folders next to threads. I get the grayed out ones are one I'v posted in. But what about the darker folders?

The Topic List
Within each forum there are a list of topics. Just like forums, each topic has an marker to indicate the type of topic it is:
t_unread.png A regular topic with unread posts.
t_read_dot.png This is a topic which you have participated in, with no new replies since you last read it.
t_unread_dot.png This indicates that you have previously replied in this topic, and there are new replies since you last read or replied to the topic.

This is from the Help section, which can be found as a tiny link way down at the bottom of the page.

Ha - both of which through me for a loop when I first joined.

( I was never the type to read the instructions to all the toys on Xmas day lol... so I NEVER got around to reading the help section.  Somehow I just figured it out.)

I don't know if this helps, I can't remember how, but there is a way to follow threads so that you will get a notification every time someone responds to certain threads.  It might help you... it's very easy (or at least it is for me) to lose track of old threads I responded in, and never get back around to following up.

Yeah I'm not the type to take the time to read instructions unless I'm building a piece of furniture. I always just click the "view new content" button whenever I come on here to see what's new.

Thanks for the info you three!

You can also view new content in which you posted in by weeding out the topics and threads that you haven't posted. You can get to them if you click the drop down menu from your name in the upper right corner and hit the second option "My Content'.

If you really enjoy a thread you can choose to follow it by clicking "Follow this Topic" which is to the right, below "View New Content" on every topic page. Again, you can access these threads you follow by the drop down menu by your name.

Really it's just a matter of tinkering around on the site and you will figure it out, atleast the more necessary stuff. There are so many options and different rabbit holes you may never completely know everything or how it all works. I still discover new stuff/options/etc. It's rather cool actually.

The most important thing to know about this site is that it is quite possibly the coolest place on the Internet, ever.
