I'm just addicted to the collecting and the nostalgia of these guys, I can't stop collecting ! lol I need every color XD

I love the colors and I love the art design of the creatures, I've only recently started collecting but I find it very enjoyable. I am currently trying to get all the colors that glow brightly under a blacklight so I can set up a display :)

Anyways I'm happy to be a part of this MIMP community :)

I'll let you know who the winner is, then you can ask the question.

Lots of other lots up, some less common colour variants. Look me up on eBay - Taka83

Not trying to be a dick, man

but thats not really cool.

The winner might not want people to know.

Personaly, I wouldn't care if it was me, but some people prefer it not be announced.

Anyone who has bid on the auction will be able to tell who the winner is anyway. It's public knowledge.

Really? How do you tell?
Looking at the bid history of an item, the winners ID still appears as D****D, or something similiar.
I assumed this was to keep their identity private.

I'd always assumed this feature was an anonymity thing to prevent retaliation or harassment from buyers/sellers because of bad deals, lost auctions. etc. I never really understood the desire to be a "secret" collector.

Can anyone enlighten me to the motivations behind secretive collecting? I'm not speaking against the eBay privacy policy since it obviously has it's function, just not sure I understand the perspective here.

I'm not sure of the reasoning behind "secret" collecting either, unless it is to do something shady like lying about the number of certain rare figures that you own, or some such.

Then again, maybe some people are just cranky hermit types, that don't want to be bothered by others inquiring about figures that they own

Whatever their reason, I feel that if they are purchasing things from a site that has a system that allows the buyer to remain anonymous, then it would be in bad taste for the seller to then go announcing to people who the winner is without an okay from the buyer.

It only works if you've bid on the auction. Search by bidder, then put your user ID in and include completed listings. It'll show all auctions you've bid on recently, and who won it, unless it's a private listing.

Well, I'll be damned.

Thanks, SD.
I was not aware of this.

Makes the anonimity in the bidding history seem almost pointless.
