Anyone able to assist with identifying these two figures... either Lanard, Chap Mei or something else. Both are about 3 3/4 in size.

Black Shirt on Left - Made in China - no other stamps. Has an S1 on shoulder. Boots look like Lanard.

Desert Cammo Soldier on Right - Can find no dates or markings

I'm leaning towards Chap Mei or another Chinese brand. I've been looking around at Corps figures and nothing matches.

Lanard never used a two screw assembly, to the best of my knowledge.

These look more along the lines of the figure sets sold at Wal-Mart.

Those that come with electronic sound tanks, and SWAT vehicles, and such.

Thanks to you both - the comment about Lanard never using two screw assembly is a good learning.

Dunno if you're still looking for an ident, but the guy in the black shirt is from 'True Heroes - Sentinel 1' which was (here, at least) a Toys'r'us exclusive line.

Not sure about the camo dude, but it's possible he's from the same line. There were quite a few characters and colour variations.

I think the desert camo guy is Greenbrier International Military Figure-an older generic line from like dollar store.
