Hi!

Today I've been roaming a local toy shop and I saw two series of miniature fantasy/scifi/action figures that brought out nostalgia in me - Atomicron (http://atomicron.pag...o-y-blister.jpg) and Gormiti (http://nachotoys.com...i/Gormiti01.jpg). Anything similar (and preferably cheap) to these two examples? Can be fantasy-ish, sci-fi-ish, mecha-ish, horror-ish, I just want some cool, non-cliché (aka dwarves, dragons, orcs etc.) miniature figures.

Thank you!

I guess you are in the UK.  Welcome.  Those are both great toylines that are primarily UK/EU only.

From what I understand about Neclos Fortress is that while the figures are usually pretty affordable, ($2-$3 or so each), they usually are only sold in lots where you'll be spending $100. I'm not sure if that's still the case, but I remember looking into them and it was pretty accepted, at that time, that there were only large lots available. I haven't looked into it for quite some time so that could have changed.

Gormiti has all kinds of options on the table, especially if you're living in Europe.

Battle Beasts are very sci-fi. They're anthropomorphic animal warriors, and depending on what kind of condition you want them in they vary in price.

We have lots of "local" artists here who are creating mini-figures of their own!

Eric Nilla creates all kinds of original figures, and also sells a truck-load of Japanese keshi figures. His website is here: http://ericnilla.sto...icnilla-customs

And Imperfecz is another local who has a wealth of Fantasy/Sci-Fi-esque characters. Mutant cockroaches, a new line with miniature Kaiju figures, and the sci-fi Mutants line too! His website is here: http://imperfecztoys...products?page=2

Welcome to the boards and enjoy your stay!

Imperfecz is phenomenal! This one is especially well done.

Battle beasts also look pretty cool. Thank you for the informative post. I'll look into EU-based artists.

And you know ... keep 'em coming!
