Sorry I don't have any images, but I vividly remember in the early 90's having a couple of these neon coloured, hard plastic Dinosaur figures that were about the same size as a Monster in My Pocket, maybe a tiny bit bigger or more akin to a Bad Eggz Bunch. Specifically I remember having a neon pink Pachycephalosaurus (bonehead). It was quite well detailed and sculpted and was a solid block colour with the overall design having quite a tight look to it, no real long protruding limbs.

Since they are something as generic as plastic Dinosaurs in the 90's, I'm sure a million other toys fit that description. But something about that particular neon pink one keeps springing to mind.

Any ideas?

I'd suggest Dino Brites, they match your description, except they tend to be a little smaller than MIMP.

Dino Mites (1987) and Dino Brites (1991).

I had some of the Dino Mites as a kid -- the ones with the GID paint details.  One of three toys that I distinctly remember -- all GID!
