Hello everyone...Continuing with my M.U.S.C.L.E./Kinkeshi resin casting projects. Experimenting with different colorants mixed in with clear resin has been fun...But the one thing I'm shooting for has of yet eluded me. I'm going for a "light piping" effect with my casts...I'm wanting a "glow" effect where the whole cast glows from the inside when lit up, especially from below. I tried highlighter marker fluid hoping that it would flouresce like I want it to...No dice, although it was a cool color. I think it can be achieved by a kind of "opaque translucence" to the resin for lack of a better description...Kind of like a "frosted" surface kind of appearance. Is there a dye that can be mixed with clear resin to do this? Or should I be using a more opaque, yet somewhat translucent powder pigment to achieve this effect? What is it I need to get?

I think a dye would work better for what you want than would a powder. Smaller particles.
