Im having a dilemma, ive had the colored claw on the top of my list for so long. I have a feeling that doc is able to spend more money to get it than I am so i dont want to bid and just end up driving his price through the roof, but at the same time i want the hand soooo bad. A few weeks ago i posted saying that i would definately snipe anybody bidding on the hands that i needed. I guess what im asking is should i still attempt to win the auction even if the evidence (that auction that doc paid $102) shows that i probably cant win? I dont want to drive the price up for someone on the board, but if the figure is valuable to me, shouldnt someone else have to pay what i think its worth? dammit, I wonder if i hadnt made such a big deal about finding purple and magenta claws earlier with the board if everyone wouldnt have been so damn eager to get them. Probably brought the dilemma on myself. shizznitshizznitshizznitshizznit

However, bid what you are willing to pay for it. I made the eBay suggestion, so we don't drive up the price on stuff that we are just bidding on just for the hell of it, but if it's something you really want, go for it. And may the best man win. Do keep in mind, that if there's one, there is more. Patience is a virtue.
Also keep in mind that there is more than likely a shizznitLOAD of MUSCLE stuff still out there, and with the cartoon getting ready to take off, the awareness will bring out alot of closet stock.

It would be interesting to hear what doc has to say hopefully he will see this before the end of the auction tonight. If he won i wonder if he would keep it in the package or take it out? I would take it out since the package is damaged and stuff the moc part has no value to me, also all my other hands are loose.

I was chatting with Moore last night and he said he would take it out of the package I think. I would too, since it has no real value in the pack since the pack is so beat up.

Feel free to snipe me if you choose. I know youhave wanted this figure for a long long time, longer than me even. I have collected muscles since I was a kid, but did not start re-collecting until a year ago. You were the first person I thought of when I saw this auction, it took me a few minutes to decide to bid on it even because I went back and read your posts about sniping. Knowing one of us will end up paying a butt load for the claw. I then decided since we both want it to bid, knowing I was the first bidder I would not be the bad guy for sniping it from you, it would be a more of who wants it the worse. As with my last auction, I knew people would try to snipe me, not only you so I put a healthy bid on the thing. I will not say more than that about my bid. Funny thing is, no one is even really sure it is a rare, just nobody seems to have one. Just like you I am two short from the full spectrum of claw colors, so I want it badly. However, I would not be hurt, complain, or think any less of you if you sniped it from me as I would do the same to anybody on this board for a super rare hehehehe. Anyways buddy, if I won this auction, I would be in constant search for the magenta, and a second purple (for you), because I feel somewhat guilty about winning it, just as I did when I outbid arforbes for the satan cross four pack. I have been spending my money foolishly recently because I have been getting bored of my collectionand wanted some cool additions, I guess I got greedy if you will. I will not be bidding on much for awhile after this auction. My wife has my nuts in a vice ha ha.

To add to that, I plan on ripping right out of the pack. I like 4 packs, but not shizznitty ones like that. I am just interested in having this figure in my collection. I'd also like toadd that i knew an auction would come up sooner or later that would pit muscle heads against each other, whatever the result, I hope we can all be buds afterwards.

I don't even think it is very rare now that I have actually seen one. I'm sure there are probably a crap load of purple claws out there. I just happens that none of us have stumbled across one until now. I even believe that there are magenta claws out there. I bet every M.U.S.C.L.E. was made in every color, except Satancross, Ashuraman, BHS and #234 and #235. The only color that every M.U.S.C.L.E. was not made in was the light purple for the Mega-Match game. That's my theory anyway.

I actually think I remember seeing a Magenta claw in one AKIA member's collection pics way back when we were postiing in this topic. I can't remember who's collection it was or how to even access those past posts. I looked and they seem to have disappeared. Oh well, I'm sure it's out there.

This makes me think about this...I wonder how many cool figures other people have gotten that would be worth a lot for us to have, us being M.U.S.C.L.E. Heads and all. I mean how many people who really don't care of these figures have ones that we would love to have. How many do you think were destroyed from play and lost because they were once owned by little kids? Damn, I wonder.

I think we are all mature enough to not hate each other like little kids after auctions like this. I mean we are all grown ups pretty much, right?

Here's my 2 cents. If someone gets pissed because someone else bids/snipes an auction that they're going after, then they need to grow up and realize that that is life.

On a side note, if someone was doing it for no other reason than to jack up the price, or to be an a-hole, then that person IS an a-hole.

But if 2/3 guys are all bidding on an item that they all want, then I don't see why anyone would have hard feelings at all.

I think that i wont really try to snipe, im just going to bid my limit on it, hehe that way we wont all have to stay up until three in the morning. Actually now i really am thinking about what johnny and arforbes are saying about all those figures out there and that they might come out of the woodwork when the cartoon comes out. Maybe it wouldnt hurt to wait a little longer, doc did see the auction first. I also pretty much agree with arforbes in that i think they made all figures in all colors probably just not in equal amounts. Now at least seeing one makes me feel better that ill get one eventually.

Think of it this way if one of us wins paying a gross amount of money the loser will feel happy when they see the next one and win it for a fraction of the price. I agree, I don't really think there is something rare about this figure, its just one that we both need and want really bad. There has to be more out there, its just nobody likes to get rid of them. Even non muscle collectors liked the claw guy. I like the little computer guy too but not as willing to fork out the cash for him, I got sniped the other day for two of them.

well, I put in my bids, I cant go past 55, thats about the price of a gamecube game that i was going to go without. Im done bidding and no sniping for me. Hope you win it man, i think we are the main ones who wanted the hand so i dont think many will challenge our bids.

I think i need to sell some of my extra muscle stuff and put the money away as a muscle fund, so that any time similar situation comes up I can throw the dough down

Sorry about the vice thing too, i hope she doesnt tighten it too much after you win this one
