Thanks. I'm slowly getting the hang of editing out the Japanese text and picking good fonts.

Here's Theorgg's version of chapter 21: http://www.megalopuad.coc/?d=3J2VZLSZ

Man, now I wanna try some tempura.

Edit: Yaay! I'm the 100th commenter on this topic. Do I win a prize?

Three more chapters ready to be scanslated at a moment's notice (though one I mostly did yesterday and didn't finish until today)

Chp. 33: Who will take on who in the 20th Choujin Olympics quarterfinals!? And...wait, is that Bruce Lee!?
http://mangahelpers....ead.php?t=39640

Chp. 34: The first two quarterfinals: a brutal Nazi takes on a brutal Chinese man, and the defending champion takes on....um...that guy from Canada.
http://mangahelpers....ead.php?t=39646

Chp. 35: The final two quarterfinals get started: a border war between the Texan and the Mexican, while Kinnikuman (, who tries to avoid this match, but still must ultimately go) against Curry Cook!
http://mangahelpers....ead.php?t=39658

I was so close. Stupid Megaman 9. >_<

Tempura really isn't that big a deal. My problem with it is that it's too bland, whether it's the frying method or just the tempura flakes.

BTW: if anyone took an offense towards my "Canada rant" in chp. 34, I apologize at this time. (I really should have mentioned Miine Montgomery in Shaman King as being this weird situation...since she was just as disposable in the manga but actually was rather prominent in the anime version)

Considering how few people come here, do you think I could pass off the chapters I've posted as "new releases" without anyone at Baka-updates noticing they were released a few days ago?

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I had been releasing chapters on Mangahelpers but stopped when I sort of lost track of who was releasing what and what the legitimate chapter release was. The problem is that while Kinnikufans come here, hardly anyone else does and that will lead to this series getting lost and forgotten by anyone looking...as usual. (and furthermore there have been other releases by other groups on Mangahelpers as well besides what is going on here so we may have multiple versions of the same chapters).

I'll simplify things:
16, 18, 20, and 21 are his. 23, 25, 28, and 29 are mine. 19 is Knuxie's.

Currently, he's in charge of 26/27. I'm just doing as many chapters as I can until he finishes. (since he's busy with a test of some sort)

Anyhow, can someone who knows what they're doing post 20, 21, 23, 25, 28, and 29 at Baka-updates? Just list the releaser as "Tash-TheOrgg" or something and put them all up together. It'll make things easier for the fans to keep track of.

So 26/27 is me. That's Roots Island, right? Alright. Time to get Offensive!

...this weekend. And probably part of next weekend.

That's a good idea.

You could link to the megaupload pages, and for the TW stuff, link to TW's page. (or, on the two chapters on 9 that are not listed, but are uploaded, link directly to them)

On Baka-updates, when there's a joint release, it's listed as "peson1-person1". But if you guys are going that far with it, just pick a group name. It'll be easier for people to remember than "Knuxie-Tash-Orgg". The main goal is to help people discover Kinnikuman, so making it as simple to keep track of as possible would help.

Wouldn't that confuse people if there's a separate site that archives the download links?

...okay, if I just increase my output to three chapters a day...

EDIT: Speaking of which, he's chapter 30.

Chapter 30: In which they try to make Specialman seem important.

You know, reading about SkullDuggery and Rocky, I had always assumed that they were harmless comic relief villains. Seeing them in action for the first time earlier this week, I've come to a conclusion: These guys aren't harmless, they're complete ****s. Now I can see why he beats his wife and abuses his kid in Nisei. They're terrible, terrible people.

Also, I can't remember: Did Toriyama's World ever translate the Devil Magician and Robin Mask rematch arc? I remember the stuff with King Kamehameha, but I can't remember if they did anything else between the two tournaments.

Yeah, Skullduggery is a creep but he's a lovable creep.

As for TW translations: I think that the only parts of the America arc they did were the Kamehame fight and Jessie Malvia. There are a couple chapters that bridge between the 20th tournament and the Kamehame fight they didn't do and then after Jessie Malvia they skip to Bibinda's intro. That means that we're going to probably do the America arc.

That's good, considering how little information about the America arc there is floating around. (apparently, nobody really seems to care about it)

Either way, it feels good to finally be able to fill in the gaps like this. TW's Kinnikuman translation was the first manga I ever read (years and years ago), and it always bothered me that they skipped around so much.

Well there were things about the 20th tournament and some of the Kaijuu arc regardless...at least on Wiki. But I'm a bit surprised we're really revealing that much. It's just really a shame that we couldn't get these alongside the more popular and known stuff like the Akuma Choujin and such.

One thing I've learned that no matter how much you think you know about a series from reading about it, there are always hundreds of details you learn when reading it yourself.

Chapter 31: (insert "Fly Me To The Moon" joke here)

RAR:
http://www.megalopuad.coc/?d=CC5B7PM6

ZIP:

Luckily, it wasn't a text-heavy chapter, so it only took me 4 hours to finish. (doesn't look like I can crank out a third tonight, though) The highlight of the chapter was the bad guys singing together. It's a shame CrabBase wasn't added sooner.

EDIT: 3 Chapters in one day:

Chapter 32: The kid who created Koubellman was probably very disappointed when he read this chapter.

This is the first time I've had to significantly edit a picture (the 2-page spread was originally very divided), but I think I did a good job on it.

Also take note of how Robin Mask randomly goes out of character on that last page. You think he'd be the last Chojin to get excited and run up to congratulate Kinnikuman, especially considering he's still evil at this point. (Ramenman randomly farting struck me as a bit odd, too)

BTW, I shortened "Koubellman" to "Bellman" on a title page a few chapters ago and was going to add a note about it the first time he appeared, but he died before his name was mentioned in-story. Oh well.

I would have just called him "Steelbellman" instead. It sort of keeps the whole idea of his name with "Kou" = "Iron" or "Steel" (don't want to look it up right now) but somehow I think there are more dissapointed creators at this point since at least Koubellman did stuff. (see Zoroman, Gokuman, Lupin, etc.)

Oh, and even this early Yudetamago sort of sets up that "dead doesn't necessarily mean dead" (unless you're Brockenman). I browsed ahead at something prior to the final battle with Robin Mask...and Sphinxman is wandering around with the crowd as if nothing had happened. Now, wasn't Sphinxman one of those Choujin who was "killed" in that so-called Royal Rumble? I...just never got it. (then again, Mr. Khamen is a much cooler and eviler Sphinxman...)

Dude. Sounds like he could've been really cool. Or a total ding-dong.

EDIT: TeamKinniku FTW, ya'll.

EDIT 2: I always saw Skullduggery as a really stupid Mad Scientist kind of guy, and Rocky as an Igor-style put upon 'friend.' In my editings, you kinda see that. I hope.
