Hi all.

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue with a Kinnikuman Colleseum?

My Colleseum displays both M.U.S.C.L.E. and Original Kinkeshi.

I have come home today to find that all the Kinkeshi have become somewhat moulded into the red plastics of the Colleseum & now the figures feet have been tattooed red. Now that really sucks with the yellow & flesh ones on there. There are now feet marks on the Colleseum itself but the bigger issue is the figures

Hard to see the moulding on the red part of the Colleseum but obvious on the figures - here are 2 of the worst

They don't get any sunlight - I know it gets hot in Australia but this is ridiculous!!!

Also the ring ropes can and will petrify if used and exposed to heat. It's just rubber bands after all.

Original kinkeshi have a high acetone content in their rubber, and will react this way with any number of other plastics.

Yep, this has been talked about quite a few times here. Keshi will melt hard plastic. If you ever get an original set in the capsule, it will have a bunch of melt marks where the figures touched the plastic. Also, a lot of colosseums have pock marks all over where the figures were in the stands.

On a related not, yellow was always prone to get red spots. We guessed it was due to touching the red keshi. Now we know it is from red plastic like the base and stands of the colosseum.

I didn't realise this has come up so many times! Should have done my research before displaying Keshi on it - bugger - M.U.S.C.L.E. only then once I get the pock marks off.

Any advice on that?

Nope. Unless you have some magical way to re-melt the plastic then smooth it back out.

Damn! My colleseum was in perfect condition before I did this - well I guess I wasn't selling it anyway but it's a bit ugly - will have to replace the yellow Keshi's too if anyone has a Yellow Claw & Dark Emperor?

Here is the YJP search link:
http://auctions.sear...cale=0jp&acc=jp

I haven't checked it in a while, but most of the time it is just those overpriced figures that are there now.

that's awesome. thank you. Ive been looking recently on yahoo japan. I just don't have the hours I used to and sit there and look through everything. I even asked some sellers in japan on ebay if they could find me one, however I haven't had much luck yet. I bet the shipping from japan is like 200 dollars alone.

Just found out about this thread. Man that sucks. I always display keshi figures on plain wooden surfaces.
