Tug o' War rolled in today.
Who else picked one up in this drop?
I did as well. I am having way more fun with the tank than I probably should! Also, I really like the material it's made out of. Were all of it's releases the same material?

Some reports are coming in of a strange monster ravaging through the province of Ontario....

And I also got some other sweet goodies in the mail from Jimmy.
I've been dying for these Godzilla chibis since they were released. They never showed face in my area in Canada.

And more Predasaurs for my growing army.

The cherry on top is this Aqua Attack Vultarex. He is, naturally, my favourite predasaur character. I wasn't sure I was ever going to own this one!

Oh, and the diorama is new. It's also my only diorama, so expect all of my pictures to be white or this diorama.

I thought that Vulltarex had adhesive issues (like, a sloppy application), then realized that the dude glows in the freakin' dark, so heads up on that.
Also: those HTTYD micros are niiiiiice.

Glad to hear it all made it down.
Enjoy, bro!

As a stand alone he is a bit small, but fin; has a good feel to him. Slightly loose joints, but nothing major; an excellent homage to the G1 era.

Wife picked me up a Lego set a while back; not a fan of this line, but love Mammoths.

I LOVED building that set. My only regret was giving it to my kiddo, who subsequently smashed it to bits within 72 hours.
Have you seen the larger-sized figure, Mungus? I'm dying to get my hands on him still!

These Ecto Minis are out now. Get the set for $40 at TRU. Way cheaper than ebay toy flippaz. All the ghosts glow in the dark. There are about 6 other GB toylines out now.

Patrick Bateman and flocked Swamp Thing from Entertainment Earth. Puppet Band was a LRG pickup.

You're the one who scored the Puppet Band for next to nothing. Grrr. Lolz

So, the Ecto Minis. A little pricey (sorta - $3.33 a mini isn't THAT bad), and the hard plastic feels cheap, but they have some charm.
Abby Yates doesn't really look like Melissa McCarthy. One thing I have noticed positivelyabout the movie is that she's just a character, not a walking fat joke.
Jillian Holtzmann looks nothing like Kate McKinnon, but everything like a female Egon Spengler. The wig joke was funny in the trailer.
Erin Gilbert looks nothing like Kristen Wiig. At all.
And then we have Patty Tolan. In the original Winston Zeddmore was a working-class felow, but he never seemed stupid =, even when compared to the scientists. His being black also wasn't a punchline - in fact, even his religious beliefs were treated with as much respect as anything else. In contrast, this character spends most of her time in the trailers bugging her yes out, yelling things like "I'm street smart!" "This a cadillac!!!" "Issa Devil! Waaaauuugh!" and making jokes more befitting a minstrel show. [iFOR ]SHAME[/i]
On the ghost side, we've got Slimer:
Slimer again:
Rowan:
Rowan again:
The librarian ghost, who returns in this movie:
Some kind of split-body ghost, which seems to have more merchandise on the way:
A rat ghost, which also kind of looks like a baboon. The color makes it hard to photograph, but it's fairly creepy in person:
And a bug:

That split ghost is awesome. Reminds me a lot of vinyl art figures.

The split ghost IS rad. I plan on picking up the rest of the set, when they inevitably hit clearance.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I think the movie will be fun.
