Hi guys,

Just wanted to say hi really.

I've just got back into collecting these, having been a child of the 80s and having a monster mountain as pride of place in my childhood bedroom.

Got quite a few big lots off ebay recently and working my way through the series 3s I can find on ebay (as I never had these as a kid).

I was always an obsessive collector as a kid, so it's bringing back lots of happy memories.

I'm going to try to get all the colours of the UK sets, including neons and premiums and all colours of the series 3s if I can.

Kinda lost interest a bit once the series 4 sets hit the shops but I kinda like the dinosaurs...

Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for the good ebay deals for the forum and may be up for some trades in the near future.

Best wishes to all you other compulsives out there!

Two ways to do this:

  1. Click the little picture frame icon (it's green) in the toolbar and enter the URL on the web where the image is hosted
  2. When posting a reply, click the 'More Reply Options' button in the bottom-right of the screen. The page will reload and you'll have new options below the text prompt to browse for and attach files to your post. You can insert them into your post using the link to the right of the thumbnail after it uploads, or you can just leave them and all attached images will show up at the end of your message as 'Attached Images'

Awesome, thanks so much.

So I'm about a month in and here's what I've got of series 1 so far...

Have all 9 hunchbacks which is cool but still short of so many.

Particularly pleased with the Krakens as that was always my favourite as a kid.

Like the way you arranged them for the pic, and that's pretty impressive for only a month of collecting! I'm also a fan of the Kraken sculpt but I've only managed to get two so far including the one I had as a kid ;)

Thanks, just realised I now have all 9 Beasts as well. Two down, 46 to go.

I have a seriously addictive personality so when I get obsessed with something, I REALLY get obsessed with it!

Fun scouring the globe looking for the rarer colours.

Thanks for your help with the pics.

You can get dozens more colors of hunchback if you buy the Peru and Mexican MIMP...
