Thanks Ed!
I´ve actually not been showing a lot of my personal collection lately and its hard to keep up with the new pieces so I should get some new bigger updates up soon but for now there´s a few figs I didn´t want to wait with since I recently acquired a few new little artifacts for my personal custom collection.
Its a public sectret PlasticPlayhouse (PP) is my to go to guy when it comes to beat up BB but this time I also had send him two LB to see what he could do with those.
And although the idea for the figs was mine all credits go to PP for completing them almost exactly as I had them in mind (there´s no harder thing to visualize something another person has in mind) and with the outstanding quality that we´re almost automatically familiar with from our own great LRG artist.
Here they are together with a little explanation of why I wanted to have these made;

Mandarin Fish BB
I wanted to see how PP would deal with a figure with that much color and an almost natural overflow of such bright colors with the idea this would´ve been an impossible task for him. And I´ve to admit we did have some discussions going along the way but it resulted in this awesome unique and colofull figure.

B&W Snow Fox LB
After PP realised the customs B&W figs of my Rabbit avatar I directly felt in love with his B&W style figs and this Snow Fox was one I actually had in mind for quite a long time since I know there was a Battle Fennec Body around which was impossible to be completed anyway (cause were would you find a set of loose Battle Fennec arms!?!). But eventhough it was just a body part and I had the idea in mind adding some Sawtooth Shark arms to it to make him even bulkier it was quite a task to get the parts I needed. In the end everything worked out and this resulted in this great looking B&W fig that goes into the B&W part of my personal collection.

Indian Elephant BB
For some BB figures you´ve quite a hard time visualising them as anything else apart from what they look like as BB and the Elephant was one of those because what could you do else than just give him a grey skin to make him look more Elephantish When I got my hands on a damaged Sledgehammer Elephant I thought I need to do something with this poor little fellow and after some thinking and searching I came up with the idea of this first Indian style looking BB. In India its pretty common to paint patterns and all kinds of things on Elephants as part of tradition and rituals so I thought why not..... And actually PP was directly on the same page as I was the moment I suggested this idea so this was the result and the first Indian BB was born.

Eventhough the Slag King figure used for this custom was in pretty bad condition due to discoloration and paintdamage I had quite a hard time making the descission to ´sacrifice´ such a rare figure to customize it and during the process I´ve told PP quite a few times that he had to do his best to make it worthwhile because I know that underneath the paint would still be a $100 fig (even in the condition it was in). But since the plan I had in mind would make this Slag King so bad ass I continued and forwarded it to PP. Turns out my initial idea with using Red wasn´t as succesfull as I had imagined so there was quite a couple of times this figure changed his looks during the process but in the end finally everything felt together. (Some pics of the Red looking Slag King in process with the Indian Elephant are shown below)

4 New little pieces of art added to the collection
*For ALL of my customs only beat up, damaged or other imperfect/incomplete figures are used that would otherwise have ended up in a box where they´d never have been displayed. So with this customisation all those figs are given a 2nd life as little artifacts thanks to the particular artists. Please only use those type of poor condition figures if you ever decide to start making or commission custom figures because its important to keep the good ones in their original condition!*

Although I´m not the biggest fan of the Shields for the Laser Beasts I´ve to admit that completing my original Shield Battler sets in 2014 was probably on of the biggest additions to the collection.
