You could ask Fireball Printing to see if he's got any more :) I've just checked, he is still active on the board and sound guy to deal with.

I'd assumed they were long gone by now, but it couldn't hurt to double check. Thanks for suggesting it. :)

Good thing is all the big spenders have these so you might get a good price.

Yeah Fireball was a good guy. I think he sold all he had on Ebay and here, but worth a shot. Good luck!

I actually did this a couple of days ago, but I noted that he hasn't been active for a month or so. He hasn't read my PM yet either, but you never know. Thought it was worth seeing what he had and what his prices are like now.

Haha, I asked yesterday too. Next time he logs in he's going to have a few different messages asking about the same thing. :p

I always figured if he had more he would have kept listing them here until they were all gone, but I wasn't paying very close attention while the initial sales were going down as I wasn't chasing premiums at that time. It would be great if he had more, but I'm not counting on it.

He's read my message as of this morning, but no reply of any sort, so I'm guessing he's sold the lot, or he would've said something to have continued the conversation.

Yeah, I still need four of the Big Five premiums. I'd love any tips anyone has to avoid a trip to NJ to raid the toy boxes of anyone born in the 1980s...

Well, the significantly smaller body of water separating you from Greece makes you sound waaaaay less crazy than Behemoth.

I say this as someone who plans on going on a massive Beastformers hunt the next time I'm in Japan ;)

LRG hunting in Greece would be real needle in a haystack stuff. Good luck to anyone who attempts that, you're gonna need it.

Take my advice and stick to the saganaki and dolmades, washed down with a bottle of Mythos ;)

....and watch out for packs of stray dogs. Aside from all the graffiti I think that's what surprised me the most about Athens. Dog packs everywhere.

Where my girlfriend went a couple of years ago, there were cats all over the place.

One of the feral beasts leapt on her father and yanked his cardigan off, which landed in a puddle of donkey piss.

He was incandescent with rage, but she couldn't stop laughing.

Can't say I noticed many cats or dogs whenever I've been to Greece, but I'm usually concentrating on other things

surely they were less desireable when they were released, and the same is true for the Greek BB's and MUSCLE bootlegs (or any bootlegs, really). But now they fetch higher prices than the originals.

The bootleg market is a strange animal, for sure. ;)

It's been a long while since I completed my neon sets, so it's been a long while since I actively sought out any neon figures. However, I still browse eBay on a daily basis and keep an eye out for what comes up and what sells. I might be going off on a tangent slightly here, but it still to this day gripes me how much some people ask for figures on eBay, whether common or uncommon . It gripes me even more when they get what they ask too! I'm so glad I'm no longer a collector, when I see a NR Great Beasts selling for over £30! Or even a 50p common figure selling for over £12! I mean come on!! Do some research!! Anyways, moaning aside, here's what I still perceive as being the top 10 'hardest to come by' series 1 neons:

1. NY Behemoth
2. NG Gremlin
3. NG Behemoth
4. NY Ogre
5. NY Hobgoblin
6. NY Roc
7. NY Great Beast
8. NG Tengu
9. NG Cyclops
10. NY Griffin

NG Cyclops has been given the biggest downgrade, with NG Gremlin rising through the ranks. I've pushed NY Behemoth above NG Behemoth now because I believe that NG has shown up more often than NY of late (eBay France). NY Roc is still a dark horse, as is NG Tengu, but an NG Tengu did sell on eBay recently.

Let me know what you collectors still need for your sets and what you think to my list

I've been actively trying to finish my neon sets for about a year and a half and off the top of my head this is what I still need:

NR Great Beast
NR Goblin
NG Gremlin
NY Great Beast
NY Hydra
NY Behemoth
NY Tengu

Since I've been at it, I've seen NR Great Beast come up even less frequently than NY Great Beast (though I do agree that what the last one sold for is ridiculous). I also think some other lower point figures like NR Goblin and NR Medusa are just as hard to come by as some on your list.

My max price was going to be well less than half of what it sold for, haha.
