Greetings y'all- perhaps you can help me and other Beast Saga collectors stay on top of the seemingly endless waves of figures and accessories that are coming out nowadays. I have been trying to keep up with it, but it seems like I have to skip back and forth from here, BBTS, Lord's blog, and my PM's with Saleen to gather all the news. I'd rather have a one-stop thread with release info and where/when to order (in the US, or elsewhere).

Those of you in the know, please update this thread with a list of current releases (NOT reviews, or speculations, etc).

Thanks! And happy new year, y'all!! :)

Adam16 and Lord both have checklists on their websites
The DST Years Checklist
Dragonautes Checklist

Both are a little out of date, everything up to BS-28 has been released in Japan, I believe (though BS-24 and BS-25 seem to be unavailable from at least American stores)

There is also this checklist from a very informative Japanese site that is organized a little differently and includes stuff like the magna collections and comics:
Beast Saga Toys

So there's that.

Dragonautes is the best name for anything ever, just throwing that out there.

I got my set of 6 gumballs last night from Saleen, and there are four figures (Lion, Hawk, Shark and Panda) and the other two gumballs are special dice boosters. I'm at work right now without the dice, so I can't tell you specifically what the dice are, but when I get home, I'll post what dice was included in each booster gumball.

Thanks mate, its a bit of a bummer tough as I thought it would be logic to have 6 figs in 6 eggs but that's not the case...
The dices would be cool if your into the game but from a collectors point of view 2 extra gumball figs would've been better ;)

Yeah, I completely agree with you there. However, I am writing up a set of english translated rules to be able to play the game to it's full capacity, and it actually seems like it's going to be a fun little game. Nothing with too much depth, but still fun and a little bit more strategy than just roll the dice and see who gets the higher number. The beasts themselves have some interesting individual abilities that can be used. And the characters that have dice with lower numbers, such as the hamster, are the support characters, and instead of having a really strong attack, they allow you to take more special dice, which can really change things.

Thanks for links! Let's still try to keep this thread updated with release info though. I like staying on LRG as my go-to for toys.

Yes, the gumballs have 4 figs and 2 dice boosters. I left all of them unopened except the bird- it's too cool!

As someone else pointed out to me on these forums the following site was very helpful in identifying what all is currently released and yet to be released for Beast Saga:

http://saibikan.web....toys/index.html

The site is in Japanese but your browser should be able to translate it just fine.

Also, the main site from Takara is helpful:

http://www.takaratom...ucts/beastsaga/

And as far as keeping track of what figures you have and don't have, might I suggest www.shelflife.net. It is a site where you can keep track of various collectibles, including action figures. There is a Beast Saga catalog on the site. I am actually the curator in charge of maintaining the Beast Saga catalog along with several other catalogs. I used the 2 sites above as reference along with www.bbts.com and www.tfsource.com.

What about the four promo figures that were released? I'm not sure if we want those since they were only available in limited numbers, but they might be worth a mention in there somewhere.

Nice! I've been keeping my own spreadsheet but this one looks current! Even better, I noticed that the second gashapon release will be coming out in April and will feature the Eagle, Tiger, and CRAB! :D

After reading that I feel like Dr. Grant in Jurassic Park when he's told they have a T. Rex! Its about damn time we see something on this guy. He's been at the top of my list since the first time I saw him in the manga. Awesome news!

I am sure they will release it soon. Unlike Hasbro and most American companies, Japanese ones tend to release everything they say they would.

Yah, red panda was a personal favorite of mine as well...and the fox.

Doubt we will see any more figures though. I'm just holding out for the DVD of season 2 to show up. I don't expect anything before or after that :(

I know I'm forgetting some but there're also listed in another thread somewhere so I'll have to locate that later and append.

I'm totally new to this, so please ignore what is likely a stupid question.

When the characters are listed in two different BS numbers, are the figures exactly the same or is there a difference?  For example, BS40 has a bunch figures that are listed inother BSes.

Thanks for advising.

There´re no stupid questions and although this one is not very clear I think you mean that figures listed under BS40 are also shown on the list as other numbered ones so there´s, for instance a BS36 Armadillo and a BS40 Armadillo. Guess this is what you´re pointing at, right?

The BS numbers with a number of Beast mentioned behind it are either sets that included more than one Beasts and some of these Beasts were not available loose like most of the figures from the Starter sets for instance. But in this particular case we´re talking about the Clear Version figures in this list named as Blind Boxed Burst Series so these are the exact same sculpts of the figures but than in the Clear translucent versions. So you have the Normal Painted figures and from some of the Beasts there are also Clear versions available which could be acquired via a Blind Box system. If you want you can have a look at the Checklist on my blog since there you can see the pictures of all the BS figures released including those Clear Versions. https://beastformers...st-saga/wave-1/

Hope this answered your question.

Enjoy the Beasts!

I really love the burst/clear versions of the figures. They've turned out to be my favorite offerings from the entire line. Too bad we never got that fourth wave...

Yes, that was it exactly.  So if I want to collect the opaque ones and not the translucent ones, I should get the individual figures and not the sets, i.e. get BS 36 instead of BS 40.
