One of the few videogames I've been looking forward to over the past few years. Originally they tried to get funding through Kickstarter and didn't meet their goal. Was really bummed about that even though there was no way I could have played the game at the time had it been funded... not that it ever stopped me from backing. Thankfully they found funding through other means. Visually it's probably one of the most creative games that has come along in a long time. Very reminiscent of Okami with the vibrant colors and mixture of more simplistic graphics with some amazingly beautiful scenery.
Other bonus? It's based off Mexican mythology of the Tarahumara culture. The creators passion for their heritage and wanting to share a part of that culture in such a format, which really comes through in the music for this game, hits you like a closed fist to the face.
If you have the means to try it out, give it a shot. Even if the gamepley isn't to your taste - the creatures and creativity are badass. Catch it on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
