Hey!

I am a bit addicted to the SLUG Zombie line. I agree it is not perfect (pinned toes and all...) but it's one of the coolest toy lines I've seen for a long time. In particular, I like the frequent pop culture or historical references. Here is my shot at recognizing as many as I can. If this kind of thing interests you, take a look and see if you can either change my mind about a reference or add some that I haven't recognized.

I didn't include the unreleased figures. It breaks my heart to think we may never see them...

I think 'The Deadlifter' is a play on a SNL skit from the 80's starring Phil Hartman..

Captain Payback may have an eyepatch, but with that drooping lip and the headband, bullets, giant gun he looks a lot more like Stallone's RAMBO

so many of the figures seem to be simply generic with no one connection to pop culture. For example, I suppose the Gruesome Gabe could be Travolta from the movie Grease, but there isn't anything specific about him to make him NOT any other greaser from various movies and TV.
