I don't really collect fast food meal toys, so I'm posting mostly out of curiosity. Are there any LRG-like meal toy runs that folk here collect?

I have all of the Burger King Z-bots. I also like the Arby's Mountain Rescue for some reason. But I figure there must have been some other lines that fall within the purview of this forum.

I don't think there has been a ton of LRGs in fast food meals, but I can think of a few:

Long John Silvers had Stone Protectors mini figures in the '90s. Here are two that I have:

http://www.flickr.co...hotolist-czFo83

Hardees had Monster in My Pocket spinoff "Dinosaur in My Pocket figures in 1993. They were original sculpts, not ones from the retail Dinosaurs series of MIMP (also, Big Boy restaurants had MIMP Series 3 as premiums but the sculpts weren't exclusive to that promotion). Here's the Hardees dinos:

http://www.littlewei...s-premiums.html

White Castle had exclusive sculpts of Monster Wrestlers in My Pocket:

http://www.flickr.co...dos/8611302687/

White Castle also had cool glow in the dark monsters at one point (although a bit larger than LRG size):

http://www.littlewei...r-premiums.html

The Diener Space Raiders were offered in McDonalds Happy Meals:

http://reflectionson...alds-space.html

Also, even though they can't really be considered LRGs since they're about 5 inches tall, I have to give a shout out to the Wendy's Weird Writers. They're awesome:

Sure thing. There were four of them, all the same sculpt but coming with different vehicles. They were intended for little kids. As I said I'm really not quite sure what the attraction is. Perhaps just that they're pretty good quality and made out of better than usual plastic. Anyhow...

Ah, I actually have a few of those. I didn't know where they came from.

Great, I have the one on the right and always wondered what it was.

I'm quite sure I didn't get it from McDonald's UK though, presumably they were also available outside the promotion?

Yes. I forget the name they go under right now, but much like the Diener erasers, they were also sold outside of McDonald's rather than being exclusively Happy Meal toys.

I loved the Beast Wars transformers McDonald's did. I believe I've got them all up until the Beast machines ones they did.

McDonalds food Transformers! I haven't thought of those in at least a decade. I'm pretty sure I had the fries guy when I was four or five.

McDonalds had Astroniks in the 80's and a Spaceship you could buy, and a flying saucer. I have a bunch, and the spaceship/rocket. The only difference from the regular retail ones is they had M's on them.

There were also the McDonald's Happy Meal premiums from "Muppet Babies", which came with little vehicles.

There were also the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes characters with removable DC comic character shells (that were released just shortly after Warner Brothers purchased DC).

I'm not even a Muppets fan but I loved these. Actually, I just happened to get the ones I have left (Gonzo w/ trike and Kermit w/ skateboard) out of storage last night. I was considering getting rid of them but remembered how much fun they were as a kid and couldn't part with them. The vehicles were really well made and roll great. I might have ended up playing with them instead of putting them in my sale box. ;)

In the late 70s McDs had a series of LRG mcdonaldland characters. These were monofigures in every sense of the word.

I remember them in yellow, but they came in other colors.
