I don't worry about Bazl (and his sister Chloe) too much -- he's got little man syndrome. He learned from a young age that it was better to be the aggressor.

I had him at the dog park the other day and put him in with the big dogs because the little dog section was empty. There were two gorgeous Huskies (probably related) running the show. Bazl had just gotten into the park and was sniffing around, looking for a spot to shizznit, when one of the Huskies came up on him from behind. I knew that wasn't good. It was like watching Yoda when he fought Count Dooku... He didn't hurt the Husky, but just made it clear he didn't want his arse sniffed.

It's all about confidence with dogs... Several larger dogs, including a German Shepherd, came in later and the Huskies were all over them.

However, some dogs are just vicious and have no respect for one another. I'm sure if Bazl ran into a pack of nasty, bugger dogs, he'd be a goner too.

Everytime I take my Enza to the dog park it's always the small breeds that have the big barks and have no fear.
The funny thing is it seems like she gets scared.Think about a small dog comes up to you(being a dog)and starts barking at you
your going to think this is a crazy son of a b@tch im all set.

I'm glad you guys got a laugh, cause I was going along with it really. Gizmo died like 2 years ago. I figured you thought I was talking about a real Mogwai. I just wanted to see If I could kill the buzz.

We don't exactly have Dog parks down here, though I'm sure there are a few. We get alot of stupid dogs in this little neighborhood, and I've seen them come and go. When we first moved here there was literally a PACK of dogs that went around keepin the Pimp hand strong. I guess they all eventually died. I also remember this dog that wandered around for over a year with a flattened foot from getting run over. Things are different down here for the most part, (no animal cops) and it hasn't been till recently that Animal control has been keeping the strays in line. I used to go up to my Neighbors house to catch the bus with him and his dog would at least once a week try to bite the tire of a speeding vehicle. He's still kickin, but he's blind and deaf, and is loaded with battle scars. He's a tough little booger, and he has his own daily route he takes. He's probably the smartest animal in the neighborhood now.

Gizzy was Awesome though! He was practically a little kid, and we kept him away from other larger dogs, but one day he just got a little curious and got out somehow. We had to get the two dogs across the street off of a pig that got loose out of someones yard before they got Gizmo as well. We warned the neighbor that they would do it to smaller animals or a child eventually. Figured it would happen the one day I decided to sleep in late. I usually would let him out in the morning and play with him. We would go sit on the lawn chairs and he would devour the leaves that came off of the Pelonia tree in our yard that were as big as he was. Then we would go drink out of the waterhose, (that alwasy caused a problem) and I'd take him for a walk around the yard. He was great fun.

URS, I love hearing stories about your neighborhood and stuff. From what i've been able to piece together over the years, in my imagination, your neighborhood is like the Old West or Mad Maxx -- Tumble weeds blowing around, wild dogs roaming the street, people shooting at each other out of broken windows, and no stores or restaurants.
