Hello all.

Does anyone make micro AFs out of their MUSCLE figures? muscleuk.com has given instructions and shown some very lovely pictures of the author's attempts. Has anyone else done this, and if so, do they have any advice for someone planning on it?

yeah, we just had some talk about this a few weeks ago, and i don't think anyone else has bothered to do this.

yeah, i'm not in any position to start doing this yes, seeing as i haven't got any figures i'd be willing to hack up, especially doubles.

Cool! You should post some pics of it when you are done! That would be sweet! Good luck with completing it! :(

the only other problem is that there is a little gap between the joints and it holds a pose but it doesnt "play" well as in i cant really move it arround. If i am really disatisfied i could possibly sell it. I am not saying the thing is bad but its not up to my standards (take that as u will)

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

No. Not "A" MUSCLE.

About four or five MUSCLES.

And the next one was suppose to be Mr. Tea. :woot:

Nothing. He's still MIA.

Worry not, though... I still have the backup of the MuscleUK Archives, as well as a backup of the Micro Action figures in case MuscleUK ends up going offline.

B)

I'd second that.

I love these micro af's however, I know there is no way in hell my unartistic arse would be able to duplicate one of these awesome figures. I do not keep doubles in my collection, even if I did, I would not hack up any because I know after it was all said and done, i would just have like 50 pieces of what used to be muscle men. If I could do something like that, I totally would, I think they are great!! Whoever else tries to make them must post pics, they are too cool.

i got a question, isnt Satan Cross supposed to be special? and if so, why did he hack him up, making him worth less? Even though he does look really cool now.

If you've got a Cross, and then another cross, and you chop one up, that makes it rarer.

Thus, Cross becomes more rare, and thus more valuble.

Before dissappearance, it seems Mr. Gibbs wrote a little on how to make the figures.

http://www.muscleuk....f_technique.htm

Wow, that'd make 'em fragile! Sauder Wire isn't too strong at all! You usually pull it apart, as a matter of fact, to sauder with it.

ok i think i got it. Since you chop up one of the two, there are even less Satan Cross's out there. Which makes it more valuable, seeing that there would be less of him. If i can get a double or 2 I might try it out later.

I was bored this afternoon, so in less than 45 mins. here is a Muscle action figure with ball joints. Not my best work, more of an experiment. Also, not my favorite character, just an extra that I don't care about.

Please let me know what you all think.

Very nice!

So... how hard would it be to make MAFs with colored plastic and such?

:p

Before he dissappeared, I think Joe Gibbs was starting to take requests and make MAFs for other people.

I don't know what happened with that.

Oily Carp! That is very kick butt!
Are those ball pins you used?

Since I have a little time on my hands and it took you only 45 minutes to make, I'm gonna give it a try. Your 45 minute work = 2 days, 3hours and 21 minutes work for me. ^_^
