What are they?
Surely they need no introduction! They're the latest series of Gormiti, that splendid and long-running Italian toyline. We have a whole
forum dedicted to them...
What's Good
These figures look just terrific. In terms of appearance, they're probably the most diverse looking series since those crazy looking Final Evolution resculpts.

A fish with legs, a merman, some kind of cloud dude and a walking aloe plant
The accompanying trading cards are also updated. They're now lenticular so you get that neat 3D effect. The only issue I have with these is that they're smaller than standard trading cards, so they don't look quite right in my trading card folders.

What's Not So Good
This series of Gormiti is noticeably smaller than the recent series, and much closer in size to the very first Gormiti releases (Italian Series 1 and Mystica). They can feel a little light and flimsy when compared to their chunkier older brethren.
The mighty Cartoon Series Lavion, with some not-so-mighty new acolytes
One or two of the figures seem to have real trouble standing up, but so would I if I was shaped like that. It's hard to escape the feeling that you're not quite getting your money's worth.
You guys go on ahead... I'll catch up just as soon as I work out how to walk with these legs
Speaking of money, these Gormiti aren't cheap. I paid a little under 3 euros per figure at retail, and you're unlikely to find them for much less. I think that's a little pricy for what you get.
Most annoyingly of all, they haven't been released in the UK or USA. We're back to the bad old days of importing them from the continent, I'm afraid.
Where to Buy
These are tough to obtain because they've not enjoyed a wide release.
If you're in Europe, you should be able to find an Italian seller on eBay, for instance:
Otherwise your only real option is to visit one of the very few European countries they've been released in (I found mine in a Portuguese supermarket) or find yourself an Italian trading partner.
FINAL RATING: 84% - Still going strong, but overpriced
