I got a quite pale cool dude from a trade a few months ago (I think with Toy Toad), and kept him to the side for a while as he was a bit different.

I found him again, and put him in a little jar of bleach and left him outside for a few weeks. We had some really hot weather (for us!) for a while and was hoping the UV would make it even more white. No idea if the bleach or the sun was working most, but it did go a few shades.

Results are quite good, thought I'd let you all see Jackson  ;)

Cool. I’ve been experimenting, and I couldn’t get any colour change with anything other than sunlight. Bleach had no effect.
I’ve got a salmon guy I’ve left outside for a year or so, he’s nearly completely white now

Try using peroxide, the type that they use to bleach hair.
Coat it, Wrap it in plastic wrap, and set it in the sun for a while.

Ah, the old Game Console Trick to combat yellowing, never thought of that!

He's been out in the garden for about 8months now, reckon he's gonna get as white as he's going to get (the crazy heatwave the UK has had for the last 6 weeks really helped I think) so cleaned him up and whacked him in the cabinet today. Lucky he had sunglasses on  :D

Thanks! Yeh it's worth doing, definitely requires you to just forget about it and be patient.
