Hello ,
I've been collecting muscles on and off since 1988
about the 90's my parents thru away 99% of my muscles
,but slowly i've been collecting them all back from ebay and other sources

but i realized something it's sooo hard to keep track of all those MUSCLES
so as a programmer i decided to make MUSCLE_DEX
and DEX is NOT a pokébum thing just meaning index Mdex for short

I would like to say hey to the active kinnikuman/muscle community

I downloaded the MUSCLE Dex, and I think it's a great idea. It's a program that you can use as a checklist for your MUSCLEs and MUSCLE collectibles. You can keep track of which MUSCLEs you have in which colors, and how many of each. It's pretty nifty... I wish I had it when I was trying to get a complete collection! I posted a screen shot below so everybody could get a look. Cool stuff!

I'd like to add to that, thinking of some features lol


-updatible Dat file (no need to instal a exe every update)

-make your own colors (Nathan used my preset blue ton override.dat, i also have a purple tone , but i included a dat maker on my webpage to make your own dats [you can send those to me and i'll put them on the webpage]

-I do make options for people so if your in need of a HTML list of this or that, maybe just something alittle different, don't think twice about emailing
I will try to include everyone's ideas


***Known bugs***
none , except that when you use the tool ->HTML it will make the output test.html , this will change in the next release and i'm sorry about that mix up.

***plans***
if they have a toy line for the 2002 kinnikuman i'll add those
and i might make a second plug in called kinnikuman.dat so if you have imported figures you can check them off as well

Very cool program. I just have a couple of suggestions for a future version:

1. Ask to save before it closes!!! I got all of my guys in, then I closed it, but I didn't know you had to save... Oh well...

2. Maybe a master list of which you have and which you need.

3. Bigger pictures.

Don't get me wrong, I think the program is awesome. Good job!

I'll make a few extra tools for that .

I would make bigger images ,BUT they would loose quality of detail to enlagre them, and i don't know about you but when i was looking at the photo of Kinnikuman Super Pheonix and Kinnikuman Zebra (both in same pose) they looked identical on the poster (my eyes are bad from coding maybe thats the problem )

and yes i got all those images except for the 3 missing from the poster
and the 3 not from the poster I tried to mimic the poster pics

I had a few ideas last night and want your imput.

1) % dupes
2) % of total collection (but this is almost like EASports #2)
3) a tally of what loose figures you have and see if they = to one of the 28 boxes (why buy a open box if you have the figures already )
4) skin support using gifs(possible but need to look into more)

hey i tried to download the muscle index and an error message comes up "arequired .DLL file, VB40032.DLL, was not found." i know jack about this sort of stuff, anyone care to give me a hand??

updated with these features

- save on exit
- Print a check list (automaticly checks off ones you have)
- Save a check list to HTML
- fixed the export data sheet
- misc little things to make exe smaller

well 1.7.0 is out and this program will never be finalized as long as ideas keep rolling in and more muscle toys are released

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but version 1.7 doesn't export a good html list. 1.6 still does it, but 1.7 gives the error message "Run time error '13' Type Mismatch". And if you try to export it as the default filename (filename).mus, then it overwrites your saved file as an html file!!! that happened to me once and erased my whole thing. Now I keep a backup... Just a few things I've noticed...
