Operation Macod0shus: Part I
While scoping out every random thread from the past decade, I came across the true gem:

Well, I got to thinking that just maybe it was possible to pull these guys into the real world in some form. I contacted Macod0shus, who gave his blessing, and so it goes. This was by far one of the hardest groups I've ever put together since it was really a struggle to adhere to designs that had no actual beast counterpart. Really, it was the crane that convinced me it was possible. Once I figured out how to create something close to the design lines, everything started falling into place. I tried, in the very least, to capture the feel of each.

Squirrel was actually fairly straightforward. Flying squirrel head on a lizard body with horse arms. The tail? Why that would be a slightly flattened orangutan arm.

I love this guy especially since I had been desperately trying to make a custom bear, but never had anything I loved. Bear head and torso with porcupine legs. I slightly shaped down rooster arms to get the look right. The tail is from a beaver back.

Ugh. A fish. How to make the face? This attempt was to cut, sand, repeat with a Duck head and then I added a squid head fin to the back. The body is a sheep and I added some kangaroo shoulder cannons. The arms are from a bear and the added fins were cut off a skunk's shin.

I really loved this design and really spent some time trying to get it just right. It was a close tie between a shaved down ram head and this Tapir head that I eventually used. I played with a few body configurations, but sometimes simplest is best (and makes the proportions work). Sloth body with sloth arms into antelope shoulders. I added in a little extra shoulder gear to give it more of the hump look. Side note: while searching for pictures of Giant Ground Sloths to compare to, I found the absolutely ridiculous Don Gluts Dinosaur page. How could I not click through every page?

I had some different ideas of how to put this guy together. Eventually the head is just a shaved down giraffe. Beaver torso and legs with flamingo arms. I cut and adjusted the angle of colonel bird's wings to get the wing look. I also added half a flamingo torso between the wings, theoretically allowing for duel stickers in the future. Why not!
Thank you Macod0shus for dreaming up these guys. It was difficult putting them together, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Up Next: Part II (Mostly built, but no paint, so maybe in a week or so).
