Hey peeps,

I only just found out about this forum, but I've been collecting Fistful since they came out here in Australia. Cool to find this forum!

I got this on the front of a kids magazine here, pretty cool huh?

Hey there mightywarlord, and welcome to AKIA! :woot:

The blue shadow figures are cool, aren't they? So far, there's no way to get them in the US, but maybe we'll get that chance later. Right now, the only way for us to get them is through eBay. Congrats on your new figure.

They've been referred to as blue shadows up to this point but they are much more translucent. I suppose the plastic of the regular shadows, blue figures and crystal figures could be the same except the different colors gives them different levels of translucense. I'd lean toward them being blue shadows due to the lack of paint detailing like the crystal figures have.

What's their point value? That'll answer the question.

Good point, same as the regular shadow figures.

New to the forum, but I'm pretty sure the different colors of shadows are just screw ups in the plastic mixing. I've found shadow figures ranging from almost-dark-gray/smoke to regular black and all the way to purple. I've also noticed that the "greasiness" (for lack of a better word) of the shadow figures varies too. I've found some that look like they're covered in motor oil and some that are so dry they look like they're gonna crack. Anyone else noticed this?

There are blue variants. They were promotional giveaways overseas....

Yeah, but that's what I mean. I can't help but wonder if they went "Shoot, we totally screwed this batch of shadows up. We'll give them away as promotional things!" I can just see the guys sittin' around the factory comin' up with that plan to save their butts from gettin' fired. :ulp:

Considering that there's no way the hyper promos could have been errors as well, I can't imagine why their counterparts, the blue shadows, would have some mistake to thank for their existence. I mean, it's still possible, but the final product look intentionally done, not as a mistake.

Either way, I'll see for myself considering I'm about to win a blue shadow Mantorr! If there's a time to use you-know-what-smiley, it is definitely...

NOW!

The clear blues are not just screw ups and they did in fact intentionally make them.

You don't accidentally make a bunch in clear blue. I work with plastics (not the same type as FOP), however, it is no accident.
