I am looking for information on these figures.

1, How many colours were available.
2, How many monsters were available.
3, Was every monster available in each colour.
4, How common are they?

I've seen four colors, red, sky blue, yellow, and green.

12 sculpts they are 'lettered" A-L

I don't have any reason to believe you can't find every sculpt in ever color but I have no way of knowing for sure.

I see at least a couple almost every week, you have to search a bit but they aren't "rare" by any means.

there is a large lot of them on ebay right now. and most likely NOT from a gumball machine - they are too large.

I don't think so, I just assumed he is talkiing about a series of very Muscle/kinkeshi like rubber men marked Select so I gave him what I know about that line.
Also I though Veers had some of these packaged? Did I make that up? Did we ever confirm a name?

No, Veers never followed up about having them in package. I just assumed that meant he didn't. (Here's the thread.)

Referring to them as "gumball" figures stems from a member here who was selling a SR BHS. He said he had some of them (which he offered to sell me but never did... I think  ) from his childhood. He said his dad bought them, and when he asked his dad about them -- earlier this year -- his dad said they came from a gumball machine. However, I agree with spastik that they seem a tad chunky to have come from actual gumball machines. The mystery continues.

Anyhow, they really are nice figures. The detailing of the sculpts isn't off the charts, but it isn't bad either. I actually think it's a 7 out of 10. They're made of a great material that has a nice texture. They colors are really nice as well, especially green, yellow, and blue.

i agree totally - especially in the case of the blue- that is one awesome shade.

one thing i would add is there are 2 known types of figures, the stiffer glossy ones that are pictured and a soft stretchy rubber that seem to be a hair smaller than their glossy counterparts (maybe shrinkage? i dont know)

I am writing a note RIGHT NOW. As long as the little guy goes to sleep without a fight I should have a picture. The figures in the pack look a little different, but I think the pictures on the back match. Of course, I could just be remembering wrong and it turns out I'm no help at all. ;)

Sorry for the poor quality. I was running on fumes when I did these.

But they say Select and I'm pretty sure these are the same figures.

WOW!!! that is AWESOME!!!
can you tell if those are squishy rubber or are they the stiffer more glossy ones? just from my own experience and my personal collecton, i think the soft ones are harder to find than the stiff ones.

either way, that is one great find!!

Oh Lord!

I've GOT a few of those, if memory serves me right. Rubber and stretchy, right? I was thinking these were more MUSCLE-like. I traded for 'em a LONG time ago, and there's some damage to the figures... but I'm amazed I never saw the ones I had before in photos... Huh.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Special thanks to Mr. Veers for the great card images. A Toypedia entry would not have been possible without them.
