Okay, in another thread, I listed my price limit for toys at about $100. But I'm curious... what is the most money you've spent on a single toy purchase? Let's put our negative criticisms aside on this one, so if you want to give people crap about their toy purchases, go to another thread.

The most money I've ever spent on a single toy is $120 for a Unifive Gaiking (and DAMN, it's worth it... that thing's a blast). But I have a friend who spent about $350 on a carded POTF85 Han Carbonite! Anyway, how about you guys?

i suppose if i had a job i would spend probably 80 bucks on a toy unless it was something really special, like an 18 inch dall devil magician (devil magician is my new favorite character, i dont like kinkotsuman so much now that i found out he is actually a moron)

I think I spent over $100 on certain M.U.S.C.L.E. auctions when I was a newbie still trying to get ever figure. I have spent over $1000 on my whole M.U.S.C.L.E. Collection from when I first started with only 100 Colored M.U.S.C.L.E.'s!

$50 for my Romandoh Sunshine is one of ther highest... I think that my FFVIII Omega Weapon was $60, counting shipping. I haven't really gone beyond that. On collections themselves, I've spent thousands.

im sorry i thought the question was how much would you spend not how much have you spent. i guess the most i have ever spent would be like 20 bucks or so. i dont really collect much without a job yet

lets see personally i'm a cheap skate so about 50$

my parents spent 80$ for a At-At from Fao cause i was a starwar nut at one time.

I don't have one answer, so a bunch of random facts:
Most money spent on one item: Perfect Change Getter Robo, about $500. For those familiar with the cartoon Starvengers (Getta G), this was the predecessor. It can form all three modes without additional parts.
Runners up:
Getta Robo Go MIB - $309
USS Flagg loose - $150
RBT Shriekbeak - $137.50
Grendizer SOC - $180, I think
Microman M100 Tom - you had to buy a playstation game in Japan and send in a raffle ticket. Only 1137 in the world. $175
There were other Microman items, but I don't remember at this point.

Most money spent at once on toys (breath in)
$3500. Microman stuff.
$2700 package, Microman stuff.
$300 Star Wars Episode One night.
I'm sure I've had days where I spent $500 on toys.

Most spent in one year.
The largest total that I ever measured was....$15,000 in one year for toys, total from cash and credit cards. Never really measured again after that.

The most I've ever spent on a single toy was $75 on a Horizon Vinyl Godzilla.

For figures, I won't spend more than $20, Model Kits I cap at $70 and nonfigure toys (Trains, RC Cars, etc.) I cap at around $150 with a few exceptions....

videogame systems, action figure playsets/vehicles, that kind of stuff.......

I'd say the most I ever spent on a set of toys was when I paid $125 for a set of Veritech fighters. On one figure it would probably have been $65 on a Baron Karza. On most at one time for brand new toys, I'm like General Veers, and dropped close to $200 on the midnight release of the Episode II toys.

I believe it was $117 USD plus I think $30 bucks shipping for my MISB Star Saber (Transformers: Victory).

I spent around $600+ modding my 1/18th scale HPI Micro RS4. It was well worth it because it is pretty darn fast.

I would also have to say, I spent around $100 on my Tamiya Mini 4WD car. This thing is rediculously fast!!

Given recent events concerning Spinning Head Ashuraman, I thought I'd revive this topic. We've had plenty of time to break our records (my personal record of $120 still stands, though). I'm sure there are plenty of relative-newbies who haven't replied, too.

So how about it... how much have you spent on a single toy?

I never replied expanding on the details of my purchases, so here goes:

1. Most Money Spent On A Toy
$120 for Unifive Gaiking (as previously mentioned).

2. Most Money Spent On A Vintage Star Wars Toy
$40 each for an MOC 21-back Hammerhead and 12" boxed Chewie.

3. Most Money Spent On A “New” Star Wars Toy
I believe 12" Han Tauntaun was about $50.

4. Most Money Spent On A M.U.S.C.L.E Toy
$25 for Satan Cross.

5. Most Money Spent At Once On Toys
Midnight Madness for Star Wars Episode I toys. I think I dropped about $180 that night.

I would have to say that the most that (I can remember) have spent on a toy was about $40. That was on an 18" Ash. Ill probley end up spending more when I get the 18" Chatterer, or even the 18" Crow.

I guess I have broken my record since my $100 Spinning Head Ashuraman purchase post earlier in this thread.

I spent $300 on my Blackhole Sunshine M.U.S.C.L.E. figure.

That's nothing compared to Philly's $422 on his recent Spinning Head Ashuraman purchase!
