Hello to all battle beasts fans! I'm excited to be a part of the community you all have here. As a kid, I was way in to G.I. Joe and M.O.T.U. but I do remember having the raccoon beast.
As the years past and I began to collect and customize action figures as an adult, I often thought of battle beasts as an option but never started buying until now. And that decision was greatly influenced by you people. Thank you!
I got my first custom base this week. It's a Double Threat Snake (missing left arm so I call it that) no weapon and the rub works. It was $4.62 shipped. Maybe a bad deal? eBay is not full of good deals as you probably know.
I have an idea for the customization but I need to get 2 arms. A right and a left. But not the Triple Threat Snake arms. The arms don't even need to match. Just a right and a left. I'm not seeing any auctions for just arms and I hate to end up short on arms for another figure so the process is slightly stalled. I thought about modding in arms from a Kreo alien figure but I don't think it's the look I want. If anyone has any ideas, please chime in.
After a long winded explanation and half arsed introduction of myself, let me end by saying I look forward to sharing my future customs with you. Who knows? I may even start collecting for real. But first I have to build up on cheap beasts without weapons or rubs. When I figure out what arms I can use and finish this first custom, I will post it if I can figure out how. Thank you.

Love it Trench!

It's hard getting other figures to match battle beast size/feel. As far as attaching if you do try, I've had a lot of success with magnets. For parts, there are usually some good lots of beasts that can come in at an average of $1-3 per beast (in lots of 5+). Patience helps. Also, knightlightbug has eBay auctions with the ability to buy some mildly worn beasts for $5 a pop, which helps when you need some if specific.

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out! Feel free to PM me if there's anything else I can help with.

I was thinking about the magnets at work a few days ago. After a month,I finally got 50 that I ordered. They arrived the same day as the BB did. I originally got them to mount 1/24 scale model bodies to 1/24 custom rc trucks. They are small enough to easily fall into the shoulder socket. I would share some with others as well.
Thanks for the advice. Now to search ebay for the seller you mentioned. Thanks!

I can cast custom arms for over 70 different Battle Beasts and Laser Beasts.  and match Triple threat's color.  Message me here or on facebook if you're interested.

Thanks. I'll think about that. I'm pretty sure I don't want triple threats arms or the color. Price with shipping is also a huge factor.

Thanks for the welcoming replies, guys. I just got the other 2 auction purchases today! One is a scrape faced bull dog and the other is a descent gator, warn walrus and warn giraffe. So far I'm paying about $5 shipped for each. These are for customs so weapons and rubs don't matter much. I would like to find the right bulk auction soon. Patience indeed.
