Well if you recall ive told many of you that i was making a deal on a huge FoP lot. Mostly series 2. Just a normal lot but very much uncommon, common and even some rare Fop from series 2 (around 155 figs total if i recall correctly) this lot would have had lot that i need and lot that you guys need. As i mentioned lots of spares to trade.

We started first to deal around july all sounded smooth exept we had some disscussion whether i would by the entire lot. I decided to do that deal making was kind of slow didnt mind that really but then there was no reply for over 2 months. Just decide to bury that deal. But then almost a month ago he finally sent me a message saying he had some more pics we had discussed earlier. Sounds great, right?!

Then im not sure if i insulted him or something(dont think this is insulting but if you disagree and know more about some deal etquette let me know) but i requested if we could do the deal in two parts due the fact, i wasnt sure i trusted him or not, i didnt have all te money then and cause we werent doing the deal trough any marketing site.

Anyway he stopped replying again. Damnit. Ive waited two weeks now and cause ive been telling people about this deal and me becoming spares i posted this to apologize from you guys for getting you hopes up for nothing. :(

I have no idea if we ever get this deal done but until i have FoP in my hands i wont "prag" about deal making no more. Guess i learned a lesson here.

i've had people want to do big deals in 2 deals with me, i don't like doing that, but that's just me. i would have probably quit contact also. now if it's "regulars" on a forum that i know, i don't mind doing it in several deals. you didnt really say if this was through ebay or a forum or what.....because that makes a big diff also.

I don't think requesting two separate deals would be unreasonable, but even if I did, I would still be a professional about it, and let you know, instead of just cutting contact.

It was the lot i first posted pics of at the what you just got in the mail thread. Weird ddal it was almost two and a half months the seller sometimes cut contact.... hell was i worried when i send the money, still i got the lot though not all figs from the pics were there :pinch: it lacked atleast all s2 warlords, Bengala, Denero, torch and few figs from the Bends region

Thats why i asked you the pics for the warlords sometime ago. He had em in the pics he said he took couple of days before sending but when i asked about it he said that he "thought" he sent all figs.... he also said he'd look for em AND reply in few days whether he finds em or not. And this was in start of January. And im just effing tired of emailing him since during the making of the deal i had to send him two to three emails to get an answer.

Basicly i got some figs i needed but im pretty pissed cause not all figs were there and he stopped replying

What I do to make sure they're legit is to request pics of their figures in rediculous scenarios, like fighting around his kitchen sink, that way I know that any pictures he sent earlier weren't just pulled off of Google images. Then I will pay him through PayPal that way my money is safeeling and insured

If you were dealing with this guy:

then you should have felt reasonable confident.

He has been around for quite a while and has perfect feedback.

Yeah that was the guy...

He seemed cool and the pics where legit(cause of the painted shadows i got) but he maybe had sell of the best from the bunch for more profit.
Still in the past though.. Not bitter anymore but i wont deal with him anymore, as you may have guessed

... due the fact, i wasnt sure i trusted him or not ...

Just to chime in, if I was doing business with someone and they explicitly stated they weren't sure if they trusted me, I would stop doing business with them.  Like, OF COURSE you get everything in writing and make sure all the ducks are in a row but you don't outright say that to someone.

However, that really sucks that in the end you got ripped off.  Sorry to hear that.
