I finally finished painting these fine fellows.   

It has been a great many years since those design sketches for the Three Wise Ones appeared. 'tis most pleasing to have them represented on my toyshelf, thanks to the excellent sculpts of Neromorus, over at Instagram...

Do you do painting commissions? I have the same set, would like it to look like your set. Also how do you get your set to hold their weapons? I afraid if I force it too much they will break.

Sorry, I don't take commissions - I just don't have the time for such things these days (that WaterTuna was in my hands for nearly a year before I had a spare few hours to paint it).

 

As for holding weapons... fill a cup with freshly boiled water and dip the figure's hands in there for a half minute or so. The plastic will become softer for a time, allowing you to push the weapons in without fear of damage.

Understood, also thanks for the tip. Also you wouldn't by chance have the header card for Fire Lion, when I received my set, that was the one missing its header, its the one with illustrations on it with the color scheme that your painted set is based on. If you got it on you, can you take a pic or scan it and post it here for me?

Had the exact same idea with those but haven´t been able to find the right artist for it yet.

Looks like you got the solid color versions so I´m curious to see how the transparent version of the Water and Fire Beasts will turn out.

It´ll probably be a while but hopefully someday...

Thanks so much, I was searching Insta and found a small pic of the front but not of the back, was wondering what the name of his weapon was, Flamy Staff, haha the simplicity of it.
