I have a sealed copy of the game with a Blemmyea inside.    I am curious as to what Blemmyea's go for these days and I wonder if MIMP collectors open sealed copies of the MIMP game to get the figure out.

I wouldn't personally, but then I collect the sealed games.   I know that on a nintendo board most would say - DON'T DO IT!    But I'm curious what people think here since their motivation for purchase is different.    I'm not going to open mine either way but was wondering if people here have done it.

EDIT I saw the price tracker above and it seems like they are going for 50 bucks?   But then again the figures there had issues so maybe more?   I thought I remembered these selling for 100 years ago. has the price come down?

He is usually around $60, but I know some colors pull more money.

I'd say keep it sealed, but idk what our would be worth like that. Some mimp or nes collectors might pay a premium.

Don't open a sealed NES game.  The sealed nes game is worth more than the figure inside.  Worth even more that its sealed AND has the figure inside.  I would leave it alone. If you plan on selling on ebay or something, you would get hits from both sides anyway most likely.

Most sought after Blemms tend to be pink and blue I'd say. Keep it sealed - you might as well.

I have said the word "seal" so much- it doesn't make sense anymore.  "Porsche" is another that loses meaning quick if repeated.  haha....off subject I know.

The game sealed could get a couple hundred, but the figure usually tops out at $70-90 (and usually sells for less than that).

No need to worry about that.    I've had hundreds of games graded.   If you pack it correctly there won't be an issue.
