Are these US multipacks costly?
What about the standard 2-packs? For that matter, are all 76 available in 2-pack combos? Were they randomly packed?
S3 8-packs typically have gone for $100-150 over the past few years. This one going for $300 is obviously because of the odd Sawtooth Shark.
I like to pay about $40 for 2-packs but I've paid $50 for one that I really wanted before. eBay prices for them seem to be shifting more towards $50 these days, though many folks who don't know any better will try to list them for more around $75-100.
As mentioned the two-packs ended with S2, so you can't get S3 figures in 2-packs. Regarding pairings, they were done both sequentially and non-sequentially but always kept within the respective wave. I would say "randomly" instead of non-sequential but it seems the non-sequential pairings are pretty consistent, just not in order. So, one who is looking to complete a carded set usually needs to deliberately follow the roster in order and only buying those cards from the beginning, otherwise you'll end up re-purchasing at least one or two.
