man, first off- takara needs to create a subdivision entirely dedicated to improving the elbow articulation of all of their gimmick transformers stuff, like this set and the mega sfcs.
otherwise, these are great. they're just a little bit taller than a kubrick, but they're clearly half an inch or so shorter than minimates.
if you so desire, you can sort of "transform" 001 into 006, and back. step by step you can just swap parts out.
they actually went the extra mile and sculpted arcee some of her own parts. the only things she actually shares with the rest of the guys are hands and a torso.
starscream's shoulder gun thingies look like they tend to warp a bit due to packaging. argh.
as with the minimates, another note to toy producers-
if you're going to give them bases that snap together, make the base large enough so that the figures don't look all f'n crowded standing on them.
