Okay we had series 1 wave 1 hit in January. Series 1 wave 2 hit in April and May. I think we can expect Series 2 to arrive in July and August. Entertainment Earth has Series 2 10packs listed for July release. Locally I have only seen series 1 wave 1 of late, hopefully Playmates is depleting their supply of series 1 and we can expect series 2 any day now.

I'm thinking september/october just in time for christmas. By then they'll probably have more online cartoons as well. Here's my question though, with the UK getting Atomic as the next line will we still get them as the extras in the 2 packs agiain???

Summer months are an opportune time for the release of movie toylines, and even then they usually appear on shelves a month or two in advance. Television lines and everything else normally waits until the fall, either because their half-hour advertisements don't air new episodes until then or because of the holiday push.

I don't think Gormiti has enough retail strength to pull off a new series release in the summer. August, maybe, but no way this month.

As for distribution, Walmart's never restocked their Gormiti. The nearest Target, on the other hand, has Series 1 Wave 2 in both two- and four-packs, which sucks because I did want to wrap up my four-pack collection eventually, without rebuying even more duplicates than necessary.

Yeah, I had a hell of a time finding the last Wave 1 4-pack at Target... all I could find were the Wave 2 sets. I eventually tracked the set I needed down at a T.R.U. - I'd suggest looking there Boa.

I know I'm a late poster for this ... But I noticed that they added Series 2 about a month or so ago.
I didn't see any new toys being sold, so I failed to mention it.

Did you notice that they changed some names from the European series two?
Barbataus is now King Jungle
Helios is now Condor
and Deep Down Fear is now Forgotten Horror

I don't mind Condor and Forgotten Horror but I'm not a big fan of the name King Jungle haha! What do you guys think? :)

Not a fan of the namechange for Helios at all, but I am so incredibly grateful that we're not getting Deepdownfear as a name! He totally didn't deserve that.

As for King Jungle... yeah, definitely liking that even less, but the original name is a bit on the awkward side, so I'm not surprised it was changed in some way. A shame the alternative sucks.

I also heard that Dedalo is now Termite. Does he even look a termite? I always thought he was a spider.
