I think it would be really neat, if they did literal adaptation of wrestlers (Road Warriors, Savage, for example) then also the funsy, weirdo take, like the Rock/Bull figure.
Imagine having an Austin, then an Austin/Smoking skull figure!

I'm really hoping that there is an Edge figure, representing.

********
Arn Anderson, Brian Pillman, Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Eddie Guererro, Punk, DBD, and nWo Hogan, also make my wish list.

I would want Roddy Piper, Iron Sheik (and please in a combo figure giving the Camel Clutch to a scrub like Corporal Kirchner or Iron Mike Sharpe), Jimmy Snuka, Andre the Giant, Chris Jericho, and Ric Flair (holding up four fingers with one hand and the other hand ready to deliver a chop). Throw in some girls too, like Lita with the thong straps showing.

Oh yeah, Piper and Iron Sheik are good ones!
Still, there has got to be more than the five we've seen. I can't wait to see the rest of what they're offering.

Wow all that wishing and not one mention of doink, that as a figure would be awesome.

Then, yes. Any other variation... Naaaaaaah

Yeah, I am right there with both of you.

I'm much more concerned with how they will be presented, and how many pieces will be offered.

I mean, I would be jacked as hell, if Mattel did a mono mini line, that was compatible across the board. Imagine having battles between He-Man vs Brock Lesnar, The Legion of Doom and Skeletor vs Demolition and Hordak...

That'd be rad as shit.

Yahoo Japan about 3-4 years ago. So here's the quick story, about 6 years ago I saw a seller on YJP list about 6-7 of these individually for the US equivalent of about $60-70 each. I had never seen them before but thought that price was ridiculous. About 2-3 years pass and I don't see any mention of them again then one day these show up. It was about $120 for the lot of 3 but I snatched them up in the event I never saw any again and lo and behold, here we are 3-4 years later and I have never seen them again and I am now kicking myself I didn't pick up the others when I had the chance. Though I really didn't have that kind of money to be spending back then.

I believe they all came with a weapon accessory originally as several of the ones I saw the first time around did much like the Man-at-Arms here. Also, above the MATTEL printed across the back is "B." identical to some Kinnikuman figures which makes me think these were made at roughly the same time by the same folk.

I've searched for info for years with no luck so hopefully seeing some of these will jog someone else's memory or that we will see some more show up at some point.

Didn't mean to thread hijack but I am very much looking forward to the WWE figs as well so hopefully we will see some release info before too long!

Blaaaaa... Gasp! Yes, exactly like those. I remember these when you posted about these before. They are perfect in every way: scale, detail, style, and poses! Damn, if Mattel were to ever release a MOTU mini line, these would be a great model.

(Hm, it would be funny if Eric Nilla could make some repros of these... :notme: )

Have there been more pics of the WWE minis, or of different sculpts, rather? Anybody at the con, or better at finding the pics than I am?

No. I've been searching too. On a side note, there were some new Gargamel mini vinyls at the con too, but I haven't been able to find pics of them either. No love for the minis. :(

Mattel are doing great stuff for the Masters of the Universe Classic line; taping into nostalgia using M.U.S.C.L.E. sensibility while using their WWE license is making perfect sense.

Since it build interest on nostalgia, they may well come unpainted just in the style of M.U.S.C.L.E. to appeal to older collector (us in short). In such a case this may well come off as exclusive on mattycollector.com and skip retail store altogether, or maybe they'll try to offer a cheap option on the toy aisle via small pack at low prices just as the original M.U.S.C.L.E. were.

At about 6:30 they start talking about the line. They want people's feedback on wether to produce them or not.

You're not kidding! He said some peeps from Mattel have talked for years about maybe bringing a MUSCLE like line back (if I heard that correctly). I think doing it via WWE is brilliant. (Next we need some MMA keshi! Get on that Dana!) Man, if this comes to fruition it will be cray cray!

Hell yes.

I think we should send a few e-mails to Mattel to know that there is a market for this, and show some solid support for it.

I'll draft one tonight, FFS.
