As someone who is not on these boards too much anymore I have a few things to say about the U.S. releases of the Gormiti figs.

First off I want to say as someone who thought they were satisfied with their collection of M.U.S.C.L.E.S./Kinnkumen and little rubber guys, I was dead wrong. I saw Gormiti in the stores several times and kept getting more intrigued every time I went down their isle. (I really liked the Thug`s fig) Finally I cracked and purchased a 2-pack with an atomic turtle. (Nate would be proud) My girlfriend was none too impressed by the fact that Her 35 year old boyfriend who claimed He was content with His "little rubber guys" was about to have a serious relapse.

Fast forward 3 months to current day and 64 Gormiti`s later.......I have a few gripes with them. :) I know I can`t be the only one here who has noticed that some of their paint apps SUCK.....and that`s putting it mildly, and just when I thought that I could not be anymore impressed with china`s quality control. :D Second....Am I the only person who got burned by thinking that the first series` atomics actually glowed in the dark? No excuse for that at all.

Last and least are the details on their bio-cards.....Could someone tell me how Turtle the seer goes from being a guy in His regular form to that of a female in the atomic version? Maybe He was gay in His first form and going atomic made the transformation truly complete? Idk. I`m curious as to who edits/proofreads those cards...Stevie Wonder? Bad spelling, sex changes....I'm too old for this. :D

I do like these figures and am impressed with some of the foreign issues, but the American issues have too many issues and should have been better as far as quality control. I`m Evom, and that`s my rant.

The English language translations are, quite frequently, shocking, and they seem to get worse with every series.

Yup elemental fusion series has tons of typos one Forest Figure is called Rotten Lea and one called The People of the Forest.

Bombos goes from having over 20 firing mouths in Series 2 to having three firing mouths in Cartoon series. The card of Deep Down Fear in cartoon series pretty much says any thing dies even seeing him yet he's a 2nd tier badguy in the cartoon series.

WHAT? In the Italian version he went from 29 in Series 2 to 4 in Cartoon series(but in the cartoon is actually one firing mouth, a regular mouth and a pair of talking nipples. Seriously.)

And what about Lavion? In the cards he's a serial killer. In the cartoon is the king of egomaniacs.

I am suprised that the "People of the Earth" (I think???) figures from the US Atomic series don't glow in the dark.

Mine all do.

My only gripe with the Atomic series is the set of figures that are supposed to change colour with heat, they fail miserably.

That complaint was regarding the figures from the first series. The UK never got those - your Atomic series was half of our Series 2. Our Atomic figures had working gimmicks, same as yours. The only other versions of those recolored Series 1 are from the Italian Final Evolution line, where the color-changing gimmicks all worked.

Ahh, I see.

It's always bugged me why US and UK series release of,,,well, pretty much everything, are different.

Take Family Guy on dvd for instance,,,what a mess that is!

The international release is just as bad. The Gormiti that we get here in the Philippines have horrendously sloppy paint apps compared to the US ones. Sometimes the glue isnt well applied either and you get badly attached limbs and whatnot.

Ive purchased several Gormiti from the US and Austria whenever I get the chance to go overseas, and comparing them with our local fare, you guys get all the quality stuff.
