i have been obsessing on the Thug Busters lately. However, as a kid, 28 pack #1 was, in my opinion, the lamest of the four as it had the wimpiest looking guys. Generally speaking. The Snake Guy looked great, but not enough to make a $6.97 purchase.

my favorite was #3 the Mighty Maulers followed by #4 the Cosmic Showdown.

any opinions? threats on my life?

Definitely the Mighty Maulers. It was my first set, got it for my 11th birthday in 1986. I was dying to get some of the figures after seeing the commercial and after years of gi joe & transformers, I just loved the simplicity of them.

I thought Cosmic Crunchers was the weakest because it had a bunch of Kinnikuman guys in lame poses mixed in. My favorite was for sure Mighty Maulers because there were so many unique monsters and creature guys in that pack.
