Well. I still own the figure. I still like it. The articulation bothers me a little more now. My writing style has certainly matured since then, though I can see that I still fall back on a lot of the same writing crutches as before. But the main thing?

Maybe I should be a little nicer to myself. This was years ago. I have lived in three houses since then. But wow. Just wow. Let this be a lesson to everyone: It is perfectly okay to suck at something. As long as you keep practicing, you will improve and no longer suck at it.
