Trying to identify a toy from the 80’s, well I had one in the 80’s. It was a bit like a Rubix snake to look at but wider, it seemed to fold over and it would make a starshape, you could put 2 together and they would fit inside each other.

I have searched for hours on retro sites and can’t find anything, sorry not much to go on.

No it’s fatter than the snake and multi coloured, it’s not part of the rubiks range.

It might sound silly, but can you try to draw a sketch of it? More than once members have had luck getting a figure or toy identified with just a rough sketch to help jog people's memories.

Just a thought.

This?

I loved this thing.  I think ours was black & white.

I remember a diamond-shaped version, as well.

I didn't post one; I was referencing Typicalstereo's pic.  My sisters had a Rubiks-like thing, though, that could be folded into kind of a Christmas star.  It was (I believe) black, white, and silver.  You could contort/rearrange the puzzle, I remember one configuration kind of looking like baby Kal-El's transport pod.

Good luck in your search!
