Has anybody actually seen these, or seen them in person?

Those are pretty neat.

What size are they?
Smaller than the first series Dinofroz?

I couldn't tell you for sure, as I have only seen pictures.

I GUESS they are a tad smaller than the original Dinofroz? I dunno. I just know I wants 'em real bad. I'm a little surprised nobody here has picked any up.

I think these were available in Italy in chocolate eggs, like Mini Gormiti were. That would put their size on a par with the original series of Dinofroz, it would also explain why none of us here have any!

I am beginning to think that may be the only criteria for you to want something.

 Of course they can be opened. My joking point was that naturally, they should be blind-packed. I know they're not legal in the US, but have you seen what Kinder Surprise looks like? Or Disney Magic while those briefly existed? Or the Choco Treasure stuff that can be sold here legally? All these kinds of surprise toys conceal what's past the layer of foil or whatever covering, the chocolate eggshell itself, and usually a plastic shell that sits between chocolate and toy prize.

Sure, and I read your point... But there are also "blind packed" lines like Fizzitors that actually mark which one you're getting on the packaging.

As it turns, I'm hearing that these aren't entirely blind purchases.

There is an Italian website that Sells these too and you can buy specific dinos, so maybe they are marked? Unless they sell opened ones.

I would suspect they're opened and without the chocolate of dubious deliciousness, rather than the contents being identified, but that'll be clear once someone shows off the packaging.

Did you ever end up getting the full-size version of that Dinofroz Combact elephant, Jimmy? I know it was definitely a favorite of yours when we first saw the Combact designs.

Also, while hoping to learn something about the Combact Micros, I came across some videos that pointed to some kind of English (probably UK) release. With actual action figures and a cartoon and dragons and shit?? This concept is REALLY not outlandish enough as it is that they needed to add fricking dragons to it on top of everything else? Stupid.

I don't know yet! Haha, I ordered some, but it was a random draw. I sure hope so! Haha

Dragons are kind of lame... But I still love the insanity that is the later lines of Dinofroz. Yeah, the two-trunk elephant is probably my all-time favorite Dinofroz figure.

If you eBay search dinofroz you can find the dragons.

In fact, thats all I've ever found.

Yeah, and that is pretty disappointing.

Every once in a while, some lunch-break specials pop up, though, and you can get figures for fairly cheap.
