wow, I'd forgotten what a twist this thread took!

anyway, new from Dinofroz:

I haven't actually got my hands on any Dinofroz yet but I love the look of them. The new series caught my eyes as some cards are bundled up with the latest Gormiti magazine in Italy

yeah, I'm definitely going to have to get some of these. Flair have picked them up in the UK so it looks like there is hope for all future Giochi P stuff to come over from Italy :)

I like the artwork too:

A UK release? Yes please! Although if this is ANOTHER line that ends up in the US like Gormiti, I'd be pissed if I imported anything. :)

They have them at Amazon UK! I'm going to Toys R Us tomorrow to see if they have any in there, if not I'll be ordering a bucket load off of Amazon. £2.49 each, why shouldn't I?

Well, I went to Toys R Us, Worlds Apart and Forbidden Planet, none of them had any. I've ordered a double pack off of Amazon to see if I really DO like them, and I think I Want One Of Those has them as well.

Just got my first ones through the post yesterday. Hooray!

I completely failed the fun part (making the ice) - apparently I'm incapable of following instructions designed for a six year old.

But still, the dinosaurs I got were good. Ankylosaurus was in my first egg, and as he's my all-time favourite, that's ruined any chance of an exciting hunt. I also got Hypsilophodon and Coelophysis. All in all, highly recommended!

I Want One Of Those

Best name for a store, yet.

What's the story behind Dinofroz anyway? They all got frozen in ice and now are getting thawed out in... whatever time period they exist in?

Not that I care about story for a line like this, but all the art and animation are so adorable, I'm curious to know more.

I will be really bummed out, when they bring these awesome little buggers over here, under market them, and over price them.

Rad.

Never fails.

Hey guys

These looked so great i had to buy some. So i ordered a double pack on Amazon.co.uk to get me started.

There seems to be some sort of DVD also with them, but i couldn't see where that was on the picture, but i'll let you all know when they get here

I ordered the same pack, seems that the DVD is an utter lie. You do get THREE dinosaurs though!

Mine arrived this morning  (and no DVD like you said haha)

They are smaller than i expected, but are still cool. I got three figures a Pteradon (Not as fancy as the other two), a Protoceratops ( my favourite of the 3) and a Psitaccosaurus.

The so called 'ice' isn't as magical as they make out of the adverts, but it does look like ice. And it's a let down that you get to see what dinosaur you have before you make the ice.

But all in all, a nice collection. I really want a triceratops, so i may have to keep collecting!! :hi: :D

I picked up 10 of these today from Home Bargains... seems they've hit the clearance shops already, so these went into the basket along with my daily boxes of Gormiti :p

They're rather dinky, aren't they? I might have to get more of these, although I certainly wouldn't have contemplated paying full price for them.
