I picked up two DM eggs at WalMart today. Most around here dropped a half-dozen odd Moose Fizzies on the shelf in the last week, very much an assorted "cleaning out the stockroom" variety. I got both the DM eggs, and they were BOTH were Frostbane...would that happen to be one of the ones you needed? With MY luck, no :)

To whomever, I also have several spare sea critters up to trade for dragons...like everthing else blind-packed, I keep getting the same ones over and over (%*#@! army of Niveks!), so I'm missing seveal middle-tier ones.

Ooo! Frostbane! I need him. Which ones do you need? I'd happily trade.

I'm pretty sure that's just how Wild Planet is shipping them now. Stores just get a case of whatever. Sometimes it's two each of several different lines, sometimes it's just like 8 dragons. It would be true to form regarding their apparent apathy over their own lines.

Incidentally, i found a Monster Maniacs egg clearanced to $3 at Target the other day, and turns out it rang up $1. I was pretty excited until it was the same stupid guy with a hole in his torso i've gotten the last three times. :D

As far as I know, Target closed all of theirs out, and when Target wants it gone, they want it gone! Once they put an orange clearance tag on it, they often won't tag it again when the price falls off later on, so if you think you might be willing to pay the stickered price for it, you'd best scan it to see if it's even cheaper...you may end up clearing off the peg/shelf! Not that I have ever done that. :D

That odd-lot shipping makes sense. I just got back from a Walmart, they had four DM on the shelf I picked up two (the price went up a dollar!), got a Vrad and a Skirmish! My first acid, but my second Vrad.

FYI, as near as I can tell, the silver eggs seem to give a good chance at pulling an ultra-rare. and the two gold eggs I have found BOTH had ice dragons in them. Anybody else notice this? Also, anybody else seen the penned-on product code numbers written on the clear wrapping under the colored wrapping?

I'm having the worst luck finding any of these dragon eggs beyond the first one I picked up at a walmart about a month or two ago. Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, Walgreens... none of them have any Dragon Magic... plenty of the puppies, kittens, and mermaids... but no dragons to be found.

Would anyone be willing to sell me some of their extras ?

Thanks,

- Tom

I'm kinda disapointed. I buy the LAST Dragon Magic set at Wal-Mart, hoping for a cool, little dragon, and guess what I get.....the Dragon Hunter <_< It's ok, I mean it is to scale with Fistful of Power and has articulation, but still, I really wanted a dragon....

Yep, same ones, minus the dragon master. Could be a good chance for anyone who missed the first time.

Actually, in the other "How to Train Your Dragon" Dragon Magic thread, someone mentioned spotting the Dragon Hunter after all.

... one of the four we got had Bruin the dragon hunter in it. Very confusing since he isn't on the package anywhere. XD

I know this is a long shot, because it's been 5-7 years since anybody has looked at this thread, but here goes:

I purchased a few of these eggs when they were rebranded as "dirty santa" gifts or donations around Christmas several years ago. Long story short, I kept one for myself, and then that one became five. They stayed on my desk or in drawers until I started teaching myself to throw pottery this year. I've discovered that these little dragons make really cool clay impressions. The sculpts have a lot of detail and they work perfectly because I can take them apart and press the body parts individually to make a whole animal. Now I wish I had more dragons. Each one has its own unique elements. So...is anybody interested in selling some dragons? That is...if anybody sees this post at all ;)

TL;DR I'd like to buy some dragons.

oops. I didn't see the reply because I wasn't expecting one. I'm still figuring the site out, and the mobile version is a bit strange. I could buy the dragons from you or find something in a store to trade. I'd send you a ceramic dragon cup!
