Personally I've not seen many before but have spotted a few at markets. Any thoughts?

Neon blue from MEG matchbox are premiums, so some are very rare others are more commons.

It also exists neon blue non-matchbox, like the mexican sonrics or the italians.

Like Truman said, some are fairly common as they came in the cereal premiums. I would say they are a little less common than some of the cereal premiums like pink and orange cockatrice which are extremely common; but overall still reasonably easy to get a hold of for under $20.

Blue Premiums breakdown:

Great Beast- Slightly less common cereal premium

Blue Behemoth- part of two multi figure sets from the board game. Slightly uncommon.

Blue Griffin- Slightly less common cereal premium

Blue Cyclops- Arcade Premium: Probably the rarest mimp from the Matchbox line period

Tengu- Part of two multi figure sets from the board game. Slightly uncommon.

Blue Jotun Troll- Rare arcade premium

UK Exclusive (Probably from a cereal promo) Mad Scientist, Winged Panther, Mummy and Charon. Slightly harder to get ahold of since they are exclusive to the UK; but still reasonably obtainable.

Did you get that uk lot that just sold with the two mad scientists and others?

I thought about going for it, but I'm really trying to restrict myself to the 8 series 1 colors so I don't blow all my money

If it was this lot then that was me! I noticed the pine green first then the cyan. Not the full set in each colour but I'm more than happy.
